Yes, these companies have no right to collect so much data on citizens and violate their rights from this
@9SQXG8S9mos9MO
I think government should impose stricter regulations on the collection and use of personal data by companies because
@jzilla1207 7mos7MO
People just need to read terms and conditions and exhibit some restraint in which services they're signing up for.
@9WP2KPR7mos7MO
I believe the regulations could be strict but not too strict. They could be strict enough to make sure the people from the US aren't giving information to other countries.
@9W9Q47R 7mos7MO
There should be 100% transparency and easy ways to opt out of
Data sharing, and if they require you to do that, then that company should be considered a monopoly and broken up and allow other companies to be formed that do have it to wear. Privacy is at the user's convenience. They should be able to see exactly where their information is going and who it's being sold to
@9W2RMTQ7mos7MO
It should depend on what the company is and what they plan to do with personal data, for safety and ultra motives.
@9SRG7D39mos9MO
The government is not the entity that should regulate these types of things. There are bigger issues at hand.
@9S648799mos9MO
I think it should be decided by each individual user if they want to OK the collection of personal data.
@9S2MCQK9mos9MO
No, but they should put policies in place to make end users aware of what data is being used and allow for users to opt out.
@9N2CM2T12mos12MO
Yes, and they should revise the way a privacy policy is written to the point is easily understandable and can be read in a short amount of time.
@9L5Q63XProgressive 8mos8MO
Yes, and require companies to disclose to Congress the amount of information extracted and how the information was used
@9PZL5C911mos11MO
Yes, and the government should ban data collection on non-felons, and data collected in order to sell to advertisers
@B4LHMSJ1mo1MO
They should be allowed to utilize the information they need, but they don't have to know everything about you.
