Not really, the main criteria are no audience, mic cutting off after time and the moderator has to be from one of the major broadcast networks. Not sure how that equals wanting no debates.

So Biden wants 2 debates instead of the traditional 3 and also wants them much earlier, which makes them less impactful? It's consistent with his strategic incentives, which are that he can't be seen as ducking debates but he's not particularly confident he'll win.

I liked those rules. We will actually get to hear the answers as opposed to Trump taking over Pres. Biden or screaming ‘you lie’ type crazy. And having no audience shows for more questions… eliminating the cheating and booing.
