Sunak places Russia and Iran in an “axis of authoritarian states” - but also references “Scottish Nationalists who are trying to tear our United Kingdom apart”

Yes, I've often noticed the similarities between Vladimir Putin and *checks notes*... John Swinney.

Did you ask how he's going to distinguish Scottish Nationalists from Scottish Unionists, or is he just going to go in against all of us because the Unionists are complicit in being human shields?

Quite ironic when the English government's view of Scotland is entirely like Russia's view of Ukraine, they view Scotland as a possession and have done everything to undermine our democracy, there is no United Kingdom it's English rule, they own us, at best we are a vassal state.

I think Sunak’s right these are unusually dangerous times but it begs the question ‘so why did you make Grant Shapps defence sec then’ & that’s been the problem for years now: internal politics trumping operational effectiveness

Absolutely right…and in these internationally dangerous times why are they breaking international law and further isolating the UK from our allies in Europe and around the world….?

 @LeftistP4ndaIndependent from Minnesota  commented…2yrs2Y

…..because of these escalating dangers and the increased resources needed to combat them, it would be a risk to the internal security of the U.K. to hold a GE at this time.

Parliament will vote on xx/xx to postpone the general election indefinitely .

Possible ?

If Sunak only mentions Russia and China but fails to mention the 3rd part of the axis - the Islamic Republic and all of it's proxies both in the Middle East and in the West then we are truly in trouble.

Do you believe that preparing for war is the same as promoting peace?

 @9MG9ZZL from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

I don't think so. I think war could be prevented if it's in the hands of the right people, and preparing for it makes it seem like we don't want peace.
