This new cash bail law in Georgia is a massive step backward for justice and equality, hitting the most vulnerable communities the hardest by essentially punishing poverty. It's disheartening to see the state criminalize bail funds, which are a lifeline for those who can't afford to buy their freedom while awaiting trial.
