If you claim to find these students legitimately threatening to your physical safety, you're either a shameless liar or a giant neurotic baby

Doesn't bother me at all, I hope they stay there throughout the duration of the war and those colleges are forced to be completely online going forward. I'd be very happy to see that.

Columbia is doing the right thing. The encampment business has gone on long enough.

looking forward to the HUGE payout they're going to have to give the students for violating their civil rights and their first amendment rights to free speech!

Should university presidents resign over their handling of protests and campus climate issues, or are there better ways to hold them accountable?

If protests on campus create an atmosphere that some find intolerable, how should the university balance the rights of protestors with those who feel threatened?

Do you think students should face suspension for participating in protests, or should there be alternative ways to address their concerns?

How do you feel about a university's responsibility to protect free speech while ensuring the safety and comfort of all its students?

This is the way. "Free speech" doesn't mean students can simply put down "encampments" wherever they want. It sends the clear message that if you don't want to play by the university's rule, you are welcome to go somewhere else. Every college/unviersity should do this.
