Bernie Sanders wants to make clear that he strongly supports dumping another $61 billion into Ukraine, and he strongly supports funding SOME weapons systems for Israel, but not others. So, he opposes roughly $9 billion out of the $95 billion war bill. That's his big, bold stance

Bloodbath Bernie strikes again.

Heard someone wonder aloud if Sanders’ entire campaign was an actual psy-op fraud. There’s a strong case for this.

I don’t understand the left being in favor of Ukraine aid when the whole thing favors the military industrial complex which they pretend to hate and leads to more Ukrainian death as well as bringing us close to WW3. Both left for Ukraine aid and right for Israel aid are idiots

Today he says this, tomorrow he says please vote for Joe Biden.

 @D3fenceBertieGreenfrom Illinois  agreed…2yrs2Y

Exactly. This is just for show or leverage.

 @TenaciousFlamingoDemocrat from Illinois  disagreed…2yrs2Y

No it’s policies seeing implementation.

Leftist Bernie has a habit of calling for a strong policy, then sacrificing it on the altar of political expediency "for the sake of assuring Biden's re-election".

How do you feel about using taxpayer money to fund military actions in other countries?

 @9LR5DLC from Florida  commented…2yrs2Y

We should only fund wars if it’s a direct threat to the U.S. or democracy.

None of these are good responses as they all lack the understanding that Israel is actively committing genocide against the Palestinian people. Hamas is a "terrorist" organization, yes, but that's because Palestinians have been subjected to discrimination for decades from Israel. Israel has killed many more innocent people than Hamas has kidnapped. I agree with Sanders. Israel has enough money. (Plus, thinking that pro-Palestinians are antisemite is so wrong, no we just don't want to be complicit in an active genocide.)

Where should the line be drawn between supporting an ally and condoning their actions?

 @9LRBHCQ from North Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes because if we know they are in the wrong we cant really help them because if we do than we are getting involved in a war were America is going to be the villain.

 @WidgeonAlexLibertarianfrom Guam  commented…2yrs2Y

He should do the same for Ukraine.

Or is that a war you are cool with continuing funding to send more young men to die?

 @DirectLemurDemocrat from Tennessee  disagreed…2yrs2Y

It’s simple: if he puts pressure Hamas to release the hostages and surrender, the war would be over. Instead, they empower them. Really sickening.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Can withholding military funds from a country be an effective way to promote peace and humanitarian efforts?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Should the humanitarian conditions in a country influence whether they receive military support from the U.S.?
