I've never smoked.

I don't like being near cigarette smoke.

I support the right of people to smoke.

This is about control vs freedom. The government cares naff all about our health.

Far more people die from obesity than they do from cigarettes yet The mainstream media seems to be encouraging people to be fat. Fat acceptance is not good I don't think people should smoke but they have every right to do so

That's not a reason not to ban cigarettes. And also it's not possible to ban obesity. Sure, you could ban certain types of processed foods but I'm not convinced doing so is a good way to tackle obesity.

The Bill won’t prevent anyone who does smoke from smoking.

The Bill is about stopping children from ever starting

Smoking causes 150 cancer cases a day.

That’s why o support the Bill.

then why stop at cigarettes? do alcohol, high sugar drinks, gambling, takeaways, etc, vapes, hard labourous work, night shifts. these all contribute to poor health outcomes.

Do you believe that making smoking illegal for future generations is an effective way to combat tobacco addiction, or does it infringe on personal freedom?

 @9LKZRMHPeace and Freedom from Georgia  commented…2yrs2Y

I feel that it should be illegal because this is a very ethical way to combat addictions such as tobacco addiction.

How do you feel about the government deciding which substances are legal or illegal for future generations, and where should the line be drawn?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Considering the potential for a black market, do you think the benefits of such a smoking ban outweigh the possible drawbacks?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Is it more ethical to prevent a generation from smoking through legislation, or should the focus be on education and personal choice?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Would a ban on tobacco sales to people born after 2009 truly make smoking less appealing, or could it inadvertently make it more desirable as a 'forbidden fruit'?

Ooooh, 19 now when we already refuse people who look under 25 for them...genius. and then adding a year for each year...Look out people, we have a scale that means in 30 years only 60 plus can buy cigs!
