While humanitarian aid is essential, the focus should be on promoting peace talks rather than fueling the war machine. The new Ukrainian mobilization law, along with the staggering human cost on both sides, underscores the urgent need for a different approach—one that respects national sovereignty and the principles of self-determination. Ultimately, it's crucial that the international community respects the delicate balance of power and seeks to de-escalate tensions, focusing on diplomatic resolutions over military interventions.
