How does the idea of dedicating a lifetime to public service and the betterment of your community make you feel about your own future contributions?

While I may have disagreed with Joseph Brennan's policies and approaches, it's clear he was dedicated to what he believed would benefit Maine and its people. His passing marks the end of an era in Maine's political history, and my thoughts are with his family and those who admired his long service.

It's a real loss for Maine and progressives everywhere; Joseph Brennan's commitment to the working class and his belief in the power of government to improve lives truly made a difference.
