Under Xi’s rule the PRC has ramped up intimidatory and coercive actions against Taiwan, with the aim of eventual annexation.

Taiwan’s defence minister, Chiu Kuo-cheng, said the Beijing intelligence service’s attempts to recruit Taiwanese people had been “considerable”.

“There is no doubt that China is always trying various ways to damage Taiwan and look for any kind of intel that would benefit them,” says Liu. “But also Taiwan is trying very hard to arrest these people. It’s a race against time, and these cases being reported show that the threat is still real.”

Strength through appeasement is the ultra left progressive way along with drawing faux lines with pretty colors.
And, more importantly, the DEEP STATE has been spying on YOU and ME for years. The China threat is such a scam – China isn't even communist. It's socialist. Communism is a form of anarchy without private property (aka the worst form of anarchy) but it is NOT what China is doing. China is simply socialist, like Britain, like Germany, and soon to be like us – and they're using "fighting communism" arguments to persuade us to accept the socialist programs that are necessary to fight the fake communism threat.
