Gun usage causes a huge amount of homicide, to give teachers guns to solve the problem is to dodge the problem entirely

Giving teachers guns could cause more problems then good. what if potentially a student gets there hands on the weapon? do teachers have the understanding and mental will power to use the firearm? could a teacher potentially be a threat? there is too many "what ifs" to introduce weapons in school grounds.

I just believe that anybody can snap and when you deal with annoying teenagers all day that don respect you that can lead to tension and pressure

Giving teachers Guns allow them to protect students and the people around them in the school, preventing homicides in schools.

I will feel safer know my teacher has a 9mm in the room with me. As long as the teacher went through training background checks and has a safe with a code or a holster to store it. I feel like this will lower the threat of school shooting.

The only thing that stops bad guys with guns are more good guys with guns. there would be less victims if more people carry guns in general.

Those homicide numbers are based on a metric without teachers with guns. Als homicide has less to do with the issue that school shooting statistics.

Murderers want as little resistance as possible. Having teachers armed will deter murderers from choosing a school.

I think if teahcers carry guns there are a chance that school shootings could go up. Teachers could shoot or a child could find the gun and they can ¨play¨ witht he gun thinking its fake. We should just let police do their jobs and let them help.

Teachers would be shooting a student. Additionally, what would happen if the wrong person manages to get a teacher's gun?
