What he did was wrong, but procuting a political opponent at the time they decided to bring charges was intentinally meant to hurt his campain

They started trying to do these prosecutions less than a couple of months after he left, it just took time to gather all the data. Let's be honest here, if that guy gets back in, he might not leave again. After January 6th, the calls upon dictators to get dirt on Biden, the documents, the border security policies, the response to covid, the slander against workers and POC, it's disgusting that he's even allowed in plitics let alone on the ballot of the highest office in the world.

Trump is also considering Sen. Joni Ernst (R., Iowa) for the job, some of the people said.DeSantis was once seen as an acolyte of Trump but his decision to challenge the former president in the 2024 GOP primary began a conflict between them, with Trump casting DeSantis as disloyal. Trump easily prevailed in the primary and friends of the two have worked to repair the relationship.
