Don't require teachers to have guns, but simply allow them to carry. While also implementing the security guard.

I don't think that teachers should have guns nor carry them because what it one day they decide to shoot up the school or if a kid gets to it.

If they are trained with firearms, and have their gun license, and the gun is out of reach of children then teachers could possibly be able to have a gun in school. I do not see the need if there are security guards however.

The security guards, while they're trained for such situations, their presence might not always be enough to deter or stop an active shooter situation, given the size of some schools.
