It depends on the specific situations. Often, various dictatorial regimes groundlessly accuse opposition-minded citizens of terrorism, who have no other options for salvation than moving to countries such as the US. However, real terrorists have no place in the US

 @9WWS7L3 from Florida  answered…7mos7MO

To some degree, yes. Too many are falsely imprisoned and abused. If they are caught on foreign territorythen international law should apply.

 @9TXX8D2Republican from Florida  answered…8mos8MO

Yes and no. They aren’t US citizens so shouldn’t be treated like them but also shouldn’t be criticized and should be given a chance.

 @9S8M75R  from Florida  answered…9mos9MO

If they are not US citizens then no, but if they are and cannot be proven that they are terrorist then they should be given rights.

 @9M3KVCG from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

No... They should be held in military tribunals and delt with in a way that is beneficial to our country and 'the people' in their country. They are not citizens. They have no constitutional rights.

 @9K5XDL8 from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

They should tell a reason they did what they did in court and be decided if they have the option to have our rights and become a citizen

 @9JJNZBFDemocrat from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

I say they should be given a chance for rights because at that point in time they are only suspects so they are technically innocent until proven guilty but if it turns out they are a terrorist then they will just have to take it from there.

 @9HPDFQZ from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

Since they're only suspects, they should be taken in for interrogation, to know who they're working for and if they have any ties to any organization. In addition to this, they should be given a fair trial by court.

 @9HLXGQM from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

The way I see it, they deserve a fair trial with legal representation, in both federal courts and international courts.

 @9GJQ5MM  from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

They should be given constitutional protections like citizens and tourists but rights are reserved for citizens only

 @9G4HM3N  from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

Terrorists' suspects should be given a fair trial only if they seem innocent. If it is obvious, they caused harm in any way they should not be given these rights.

 @9FRSKQ3 from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

While they are not U.S. citizens, they still deserve basic, extremely basic, human rights cnostituted under the Uniter Nations.

 @9FNXMCG from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

If hard evidence is discovered that they have some type of allegiance to any terrorism organization then trying to get more information to prevent future harm to the general welfare would make sense for their constitutional rights to be taken away but a mere suspicion and the suspicion being wrong could cause a very severe issue in overstepping people's rights.

 @9DCV2JP from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

It depends if they are actually a threat or not. Is the government being racist or are their suspicions true?

 @9CH5LDG from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

No, however certain rights are inalienable human rights, and those should be given to all - even terrorism suspects.

 @96LHY98 from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

 @96DM8WT from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

 @96D79J7 from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

They should have other constitutional rights but alzado be given a fair trial in court

 @969579T from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but with adjustments to the system that prevent lawyers from exploiting loopholes.

 @944MJ7B from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, just like U.S. citizens, terrorists should be given a fair trial in federal courts

The key word here is "suspects." If there is not 100% concrete evidence against them then they should get a fair trial. If we do not follow our own code, who are we to be calling ourselves the best country in the world?

 @945FP62 from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes. I don’t always like/agree with it but Our constitution gives everyone the right to a fair trail

 @944MJ7B from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, just like U.S. citizens, terrorists should be given a fair trial in federal courts

It depends on the current state of evidence, suspicion, and magnitude of terrorism

 @944H97D from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

The public deserves to understand their mindset to more peacefully critique the flaws of our government.

 @936G56L from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

Terrorism suspects should be given constitutional rights and confirmed terrorists should not be dehumanized.

 @92RH6WKLibertarian from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

If they are found guilty they should not be given constitutional rights.

 @92MTC7DRepublican from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

The should be trialed but they should be treated as citizens, it is a right to be a citizen. They where the one who messed up and chose to do the wrong thing going against this country,.

 @8Z9KXKH from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

After having a intense background check on the person, that should determine weather they should be given constitutional rights or not.

 @8YJ6CBHDemocrat from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

Do background checks and stuff to make sure they aren’t actually terrorists

 @8YHMXG4 from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

they can be given rights but there should be a boundary on their rights, like voting rights

 @8XD8NJL from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

If they are suspects, then as part of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, they should be given rights such as to have a trial, but if fully convicted, then those rights should be revoked.

 @kim2028 from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

They should have a right to a lawyer and a speedy trial. However, since they failed their rights as citizens and broke the oath that they were supposed to keep and not betray or malconstruct against the United States, they shouldn't be guaranteed these rights and it should be a privilege.

 @8VC5ZFFDemocrat from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

I feel like they should be tried as a terrorist but treated like a human

 @8VBSNQT from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

Although they are not U.S. citizens, i feel they should be tried with some extreme conditions however, not subject to torture.

 @JustinMD2003 from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, after serving a penance for suspected crimes such as 10 years and then being on parole and constantly being watched showing they are a changed person and are proving to be a U.S citizen can they get constitutional rights.

 @8T4R6HF from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, I believe the US Constitution is our best attempt at human rights.

 @8RKXYQZ from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8RHQ6XD from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

I mean they should have basic human rights, as they are human after all, but not the whole list of the constitution with all the amendments and what not. They should have a fair trial and whatever they find they should not be tortured.

 @8QCPJLC from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

They should be given a fair trial but some constitutional rights may not apply.

 @8PV5RQB from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

They are not citizens so they are not granted the full set of constitutional rights but do have basic human rights.

 @8PRKT4T from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

Narrowing the definition of torture is suspect. They are not citizens but still have right to be treated human and fairly until convicted.

 @8PR3B2Q from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

they should still be treated with decency and if the judicial system was good in the US there would be no need for such things like guantanamo bay

 @8PQK497 from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

As the constitution was written as a document which pertains to basic human rights, it should be reasoned that every person should have a right to a trial, regardless of their country of origin. This stance comes from the

 @8PQJ42D from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

they should be treated like regular people but under so much more watch and placed somewhere until found not guilty but also not in cages

 @8PN74V6 from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes but it depends and we will have to do many extensive background searches.

 @8PGZS63 from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

Every human being has given been given liberties by their creator. Giving them all of the U.S. constitutional rights does not make sense, since they are not American citizens.

 @8PFGKFRConstitution from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

No man nor woman should be denied the presumption of innocence until the burden of proof falls upon the defense.

 @8PB8XH6Republican from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

They should be given a fair trial like all US citizens and depending on the crime, tried in the military tribunal with no torture and shutting down Guantanamo Bay.

 @8P65HF2 from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

Only if there a citizen of the United States they should have fair trial every legal citizen has there human rights

 @8NZ3YJ8 from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, unless they have previously actively terrorized someone in the past 15-20 years

 @8NRJBZQ from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

No single individual in this earth that steps into American sovereignty is so beneath or above the constitution that they are denied its freedoms or supersede the constitution itself.

 @8NRJBZQ from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

No single individual in this earth that steps into American sovereignty is so beneath of above the constitution that they are denied its freedoms or supersede the constitution itself.

 @8NMQXTP from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

yes and no. Yes because they're terrorism suspects and no because they're humans too, and as previously stated "suspects" who may not have done the crime.

 @8MPXWMZ from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8LZZ36FDemocrat from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but after they do a background check. All people should have basic human rights.

 @8LQJR8JRepublican from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

They should get background checks and if they have ties to terrorists send them back

 @8LQGX4S from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

They should be given basic human rights like access to healthcare but should be detained in a federal prison

 @8LQ39X6 from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

Foreign terrorism suspects could have terrible things but are still people so they deserve their rights.

 @8LNFVS3 from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

No, they should not be given those rights only if there is undeniable evidence that they are terrorists

 @8L9Q7PK from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

If they have citizenship - fair trial.
If not however, they should be taken to a fair trial. They should be first obligated to get a citizenship, then after, they should be treated with all rights. If they refuse citizenship or cannot gain one. They should be subjected to all rights except have no power against illegal immigration.

 @8L92Q7RPeace and Freedom from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

GIve them a fair trial for everyone before making the decision for everyone.

 @8KXRVY9 from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8K938V5 from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8H8L5NVIndependent from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

No constitutional rights but a hearing to determine guilt would be just.

 @8GNL9T6 from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

Every criminal that is not a U.S citizen should by given all the basic human rights and also the right that the Constitution gives to non-citizens.

 @8FTRSM4 from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8FLP57Y from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8DX62RC from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

They're humans, they can have basic human rights as long as thy cooperate.

 @8DVQFQ9 from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8DRBM2R from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

I believe if the suspect cooperates and there's not enough evidence to show they are guilty, they should be given a fair trial, but if they're being difficult and have evidence of wrongdoing then they should be torture for information.

 @8D6YWH2 from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

No, they have threatened our soldiers and our countries and definitely do not deserve to be given constitutional rights

 @8D6J4YH from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8CYPCY8 from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8CQRW2H from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

They should be put on trial and there would need to be evidence on why they are suspected terrorists. If they are not then give them constitutional rights

 @8C9PVKX from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

torture is not apart of the realm of human rights. There are bad people in the world yes, but imposing harm to gain information should not be a direction of governments, world wide.

 @8C8ZJ68 from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

They should be treated like humans and have basic human rights, but not U.S rights because they aren't citizens.

 @9C2VRLN from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but only if they are not yet confirmed to be an actual terrorist. If they are a confirmed terrorist or confirmed accomplice of a terrorist, then the rights are stripped immediately and we may do whatever we wish with them. If we do not follow our own creed, who are we?

 @9BQ59Y7 from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9B8BKRBDemocrat from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

They have a right to a fair trial, but they aren't citizens. Still, they have human rights.
