The only weapon a person should need is a handgun. Any rifle of any kind is not needed to be in possession of anyone. Murder is wrong still, but the 2nd amendment I agree with. So it should be mandatory for rifle, not for handguns.

Yes, we should demilitarize local police departments AND start with a voluntary buyback and ban before enforcing mandatory. We should also have shooting ranges available for people to use these weapons recreationally, humans love big shooty gun.
