No. Abolish the ATF, implement constitutional carry, repeal the NFA and punish individual state governments for infringing on constitutional 2nd amendment rights.

Yes, but expand this to all firearms, since the vast majority of gun killings are done with handguns. And definitely demilitarize police, and reallocate funding (gradually) from police departments to other social services better equipped to address root causes of criminally, people with mental illnesses, and people with intellectual impairments.

For regular citizens, there should be a stricter buyback of assault weapons, with additional background and mental health checks.

 @9D4PT42 from Pennsylvania  answered…2yrs2Y

i think that they should not buy them back but not allow people to sell them

Yes, but start with voluntary buyback and a ban on assault weapons before enforcing mandatory buyback, AND we should demilitarize police departments

No, sell backs of illegal guns that are converted back into being legal.

i dont believe in taking away someones form of protection but i think it should be limited to two firearms, non military grade (handguns only) per person and the back round checks should be more intense.

Yes, except in cases in which the owner has a collector's license, which would require passing the same tests as purchasing the firearm

 @8HFJ6GG from Pennsylvania  answered…5yrs5Y

No citizen should own assault weapons I believe pistols for self-defense and shot guns and hunting rifles for hunting and target shooting

 @8D55HPQ from Pennsylvania  answered…5yrs5Y

We should implement a voluntary buyback with extremely strong financial incentives. I don't believe that civilians should have access to assault weapons, however until a new constitutional amendment is passed that redefines the "right to bear arms," the government cannot outright ban them. We should have increased background checks, psychiatric evaluations, longer waiting periods, and mandatory training.

Yes, start with a voluntary buy-back a ban on purchasing assault weapons before enforcing a mandatory buyback. Also, we should demilitarize local police departments and set up other emergency services like Social Workers to avoid cops answering non-violent emergency calls.
