No, we can't afford a prison-industrial complex. Corporations that will run them will want them filled to increase their profits. They'll want even more people convicted of crimes. Instead of freedom we'll end up with tyranny.

And create a powerful prison-industrial complex? Oh, they'd love to lock up more and more people to increase their profits. NO THANK YOU!

No, private prisons will sacrifice quality of care and rehabilitation services for profit. They'll also want more people in prison to increase their profits.

No, a prison industrial complex will want more people in prison not less in order to maximize profits.

No, we don't need a prison industrial complex. With privatized prisons the corporations owning and or running them will want to fill prisons up to maximize profits.

No, we don't need any prison-imndustrial complex. Companies that operate prisons will want more people populating those prisons to increase profits. Soon we could end up where way to many people are in prison, well that has already happened, but even 10% of the US population could end up there. Of course there won't be enough that have not been convicted of any crime to support those who have been convicted, so these companies will want to hire out their inmates to farmers, manufacturers, mail order, and online retailers to make more money. And those companies such as Amazon, will want to use them to drive employment costs down.

No, private prisons will sacrifice quality of care and rehabilitation services for profit. And we don't need a prison industrial complex. It would be to their advantage, but an unconstitutional disadvantage to citizens, to have more laws passed so more people will be sent to these prisons.
