Yes, but making sure the stimulus goes to people who really need it. Also, the stimulus money should go to the parent the has primary responsibility for the children rather than being split when the other parent didn’t contribute anything to raising the kids during a recession.

Yes, but limit the Fed's involvement to toxic asset relief and currency stabilization.

Resources that assist the American worker and not big banks and corporations should be taken during economic hardships

I've taken the checks, so I won't say no. Tax breaks for low income people would help.

 @9B5BV9ZConstitution from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

No. We learn no resiliancy or responsibility. Government action simply delays the effect and we end up worse off in general. If anything we should encourage building up our own individual wealth to weather the storm.

 @95C9P92Constitution from Mississippi  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but it should not be allowed to create permanent programs in response to temporary economic stimuli.

Continue to provide welfare for those who need it, and only provide economic stimulus in ways that will ultimately not increase our national debt.

 @8WYGRX6Constitution from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

No, stimulus aid decreases the amount of workers because it makes people think that they can live off the government so they just sit at home doing nothing but collect their stimulus check and their government benefits and they become leeches to the rest of society by living off of our tax dollars that could go to way more useful things than supporting someone who isn't motivated to go out and get a job like they should.

 @8T2LG8FConstitution from Maine  answered…4yrs4Y

Stimulus checks should not be given to people who are already collecting government income such as social security.

 @8RV6TGDConstitution from Tennessee  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes because it’s our money anyway and the government steals it every year.

 @8RMNGSQConstitution from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

No, there wouldn’t be recession if the government didn’t cause one.

No, government should not interfere with the private sectors' rights during recessions.

 @8HLPBN4Constitution from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Only in the event of a crisis such as the pandemic, massive natural disasters, and to other non-market related events. if we start giving stimulus to people and to companies during a down market then all we are doing is propping up failed businesses/lifestyles

the government should always help its country and people our entire constitution is built on the backs of our white americans

 @99BX3H5Constitution from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

I support stimulus but spending on policy should be reduced during a recession and stimulus to citizens should be limited. Stimulus worked in prior years but the stimulus sent during Covid is a huge reason for inflation

 @96ZZRYMConstitution from Maryland  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but in the form of tax breaks for lower income AND government should reduce spending on an ongoing basis

 @9293B9BConstitution from Wisconsin  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8Z6GRFHConstitution from Oklahoma  answered…3yrs3Y

Government should reduce spending and ease restrictions across the board.

 @8R2T6DBConstitution from Montana  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only if the recession is caused by the political system or the policies that they put in place.

 @8KJ9D7SConstitution from California  answered…5yrs5Y

If we are not paying our taxes for things like this what are we paying our taxes for. Funds should not go to businesses.

 @heatherdvdprincessConstitutionanswered…5yrs5Y

No, but it should do it's best to help without using direct government power to do it. For example, they can have a competition to have the public crowdsource solutions.
