No, the land will never see peace until it is irradiated and human populations cannot physically be there. The governments around the land need to share jurisdiction of the area and that needs to be mediated by a much stronger outside power.

This is a unique challenge in the world. If the Israeli people believe Jerusalem is the capital of their country, other countries should recognize that. It's possible it can also be recognized as the capital of the Palestinian nation as well.

I think we should stay out of this issue at the moment - this is a complex issue that is mostly the British's fault.

The U.S. should neither recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel nor should it recognize Palestine.

no country should have such an important piece of land because it would just cause endless conflict.

I don't think the United States has the right or the authority to really have any say in the matter. The religious warfare connected to or surrounding the issue of Jerusalem, is something we do not understand. It is much too complex for us to insert ourselves and make that decision for the parties involved, no matter how much we'd like to understand and help. We should have never meddled in the first place.

The country shouldn't worry about others affairs while our own people need help.

Until the dispute is settled it should not be considered the capital of either

As an atheist and someone not interested in religion, I have no say in this.

The palestinians and Israelis should work this out and we should respect the decision

 @8KQLF58 from Idaho  answered…5yrs5Y

This is not American business, American government needs no control of other countries

 @8GX5C6W from Idaho  answered…5yrs5Y

I feel like that's not our decision to make and I have no opinion on it

world leaders need to discuss with the leaders of palestine and israel and discuss the possibility of placing an embassy in jerusalem, but for both of them, as it is regarded as the holy land in both judaism and islam, as islam is the root religion for judaism, but neither is incorrect about their faith

Our embassy location should not dictate the ownership of the city to either country

No. Foreign governments should not make determinations regarding capitols and should let local areas work it out.
