safe spaces absolutely yes. trigger words not so much but they are important for SOME PEOPLE with SERIOUS trauma. it is also up to those individuals to communicate those triggers.

General Content Warnings should be utilized in Academic spaces as it gives participants time to prepare themselves to enter that discussion rather than assuming they will be triggered by it. If you normalize content warnings you are inherently creating a safe space that does not rely on censorship.

Public universities: no. Private universities: they should be free to choose the policies they think best.

Yes. Make them "content warnings," letting people have a synopsis of emotional topics of what’s coming up (so they can opt in or out as they need to). Given the only people really offended by "safe spaces" are cis het white men and those who have power stemming from that demographic, yes.

Yes, it is the individual professor's choice to provide trigger warnings and safe spaces.

Trigger warnings should be added and any place of education should be inherently safe

Provide context warnings so that students may decide what may or may not be a trigger for them and proceed according, and offer safe spaces for marginalized or at risk groups.

Yes, but only in extreme circumstances where the lack of a safe space or a trigger could extremely harm the mental or physical health of a student.

 @93QVKHK from California  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes provide trigger warnings and provide more mental health support. College should prepare students for real life and make them emotionally and mentally ready for life. This can be accomplished by those who are in need of a safe space or trigger warnings to get help with ptsd and other mental health issues.

Should be the choice of the university, and highly emphasized but not required.
