If federal funding is withheld, then people with the juridiction of that city should not be required to paid federal taxes.

 @ArghhGeeDub  from Idaho  answered…4mos4MO

Yes, only if the federal government expressly approves immigration policies that overburden said cities.

 @9VGP6JH from Idaho  answered…7mos7MO

No, that would be aiding and abetting. Also, there is too much federal funding of things. The federal government should be smaller and involved in less.

Being an illegal citizen is not ok. Yet, the majority of immigrants are coming into the U.S. illegally to escape the terrors of corrupt governments of their homeland. I believe we should speed up the process for aliens to become legal, making it a quicker process for them to live here and contribute to our nation. Any aliens associated with cartels or trafficking should not receive any federal help whatsoever.

No, individual leaders of sanctuary cities should be imprisoned for dereliction of duty and failure to enforce laws.

 @9H97GF7 from Idaho  answered…1yr1Y

Yes and No because it promotes people to just come in undocumented and not getting legal papers. So it should only be offered in certain place and not just every federal funding.

I think the government should allow asylum to those who do not have malicious intent or have not committed crimes but should not be funding them. Non-profits should instead.

 @9FWD4JN from Idaho  answered…2yrs2Y

I think as long as the immigrants in the cities are actively working and trying to work for themselves, yes.

it depends if the federal will actually use it for good and if not then no

 @93DC622 from Idaho  answered…3yrs3Y

No, private citizens should donate voluntarily or through taxation through states

 @8ZRYN55 from Idaho  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, they should because if they haven't done anything wrong then they deserve a right to do so.

 @8YS3HDX from Idaho  answered…3yrs3Y

Cities should enforce the laws and if they disagree with those laws, they should go through the proper means of changing those laws. reducing or eliminating federal funding may be an option, but it depends on what findings would be eliminated.

 @8WNBBD8Peace and Freedom from Idaho  answered…4yrs4Y

yes, these cities are vital for undocumented immigrants. I dont think a lot of federal funding should be given, just enough to get them on their feet and help them become citizens.
