No I ultimately believe it is the parents responsibility to see if their child/children gets vaccinated.

 @B43HYPFLibertarian from Connecticut  answered…2mos2MO

if it is mandatory like meningitis that prevents things those yes but if its like the flu or covid no

 @B32BWFQIndependent from Connecticut  answered…3mos3MO

It is the parent's decision, but long term scientifically studied vaccines that have been approved including measles, mumps, rubella have been studied long term without side effects, benefits outweigh the risk, newer vaccines had not had enough time to be studied the risk benefit outcome.

 @B2X4L2G from Connecticut  answered…3mos3MO

I think it depends on the disease and if the parents want to put that in their kids. At the end of the day its the parents choice.

 @9XKV49G from Connecticut  answered…7mos7MO

I feel it should be there decision if they want to then they could they don't have to do it if they don't want to.

 @9VZ37RR from Connecticut  answered…7mos7MO

it should be a choice but other people should be informed about it and in public places like school people should have a vote if people who got the vaccination should be allowed in school or not

 @9TXNWFL from Connecticut  answered…8mos8MO

I think that they can only require it if they make places in local locations for kids to get vaccinated and they make them free if not then no.

 @9TVPZPPNo Labels from Connecticut  answered…8mos8MO

I think we shouldn't but it would be good if there was not going to be as much outrage as their will be if this happened.

 @9TCWVBK from Connecticut  answered…9mos9MO

I have always had my children vaccinated, but it is a different time. While our children need to be safe from preventable diseases, I saw with Covid how many people declined the vaccinations. I did get vaccinated.

 @9K5QS4M from Connecticut  answered…1yr1Y

I mean you can do what you want when it comes to your child, if you don't want them vaccinated then don't and if you do then do it.

 @9JS3TTS from Connecticut  answered…1yr1Y

i think that it should be the parent's choice if they want to vaccinate there children and once they turn 10 its there choice.

 @9GYBRLM from Connecticut  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, for researched, proven and clinically backed vaccinations. Emergency orders that do not hold the manufacturers liable should not be required, but should be optional based on beliefs. Eg-polio, measles etc vs Covid.

 @9GR8Z55 from Connecticut  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but exceptions for religion and allergies but when it comes to deadly diseases they must be vaccinated to attend public school.

 @9GKC5H7 from Connecticut  answered…2yrs2Y

I would say it should not be a requirement also if theirs a family with strong religious beliefs, people should be able to make their on decision, but you should create campaigns about the risks and benefits of them like the flu vacine

 @9FNPPTRRepublican from Connecticut  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9D7N3RR from Connecticut  answered…2yrs2Y

No, it depends on the health of the children and ultimately should be up to the parents.

 @9FNW3LB from Connecticut  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9BRW3XV from Connecticut  answered…2yrs2Y

 @967JMMM from Connecticut  answered…3yrs3Y

I would say it's your own choice because you know what's best for your body

 @967FHG6 from Connecticut  answered…3yrs3Y

 @92SLJ4Y from Connecticut  answered…3yrs3Y

Parents should have a choice whether they want to vaccinate their kids.

 @92792XN from Connecticut  answered…3yrs3Y

No, but make parents who transfer diseases to other children to be liable for torts.

 @924G5ZCRepublican from Connecticut  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8YNTX55 from Connecticut  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8Y7N5QW from Connecticut  answered…3yrs3Y

No, It should be up to the parents if they decide to have the child get vaccinated and the child should have a say sol as well.

 @8X8MVSL from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

It should be the choice of the parent whether their children should receive vaccines until they are a certain age, like 16 or 18.

 @8X4M2TL from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

Everyone should get it or not based on their believes, and just take precautions to make everyone safe.

 @8WZ2LHJ from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8WYLM2M from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

yes unless it is the covid vaccine because the covid vacciene is still being experimented.

 @8WXL95N from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, only for deadly contagious diseases and with exceptions with religious beliefs.

 @8WXCGRDDemocrat from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

It should not matter what each family chooses because it depends on the compfert level but to do certain things within the country or other countries, you should be vaccinated.

 @8WX3V5X from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8WX3X2F from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but if they cannot because of religion or any other reason that is fine.

 @8W6R86B from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8VM7FYC from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8TQ5WLF from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, unless the child has a medical/health condition that prevents them from being vaccinated

 @8TP2MS8Republican from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

You can’t force someone to put something into their body but it is their fault if they become sick

 @8TNWZZLLibertarian from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8TKGCH3Independent from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but an exception for people who have allergic reactions to vaccines

 @8TH24ZX from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, unless they are unable to have a certain vaccine for certain medical reasons

 @8SGDN44Independent from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

Its up to the parents government shouldn't be the one telling you what to do

 @8S9GQ35 from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

I believe the parents should have the choice of vaccinating their child or not.

It should be the guardians decision and getting the government involved is not the best idea.

 @8NNMP2T from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8NKWNB7 from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, it should be mandatory, but it should not be mandatory if the vaccine is new and has not been fully studdied.

 @8N5HHBP from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8LJFGLVIndependent from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

This should be decided by the parent. Everyone's immune system is built differently and some are stronger than others.

No if it goes against their religion, but they should still learn about the risks. But if they have a deadly contagious disease; and refuse it, they should be held criminally liable for transferring the disease.

 @8K42HXK from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8JVVNC8 from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

It depends because the parents choose whether or not THEIR child should take it.

 @8JNB4KQ from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8HLFB57 from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

Personally I think everyone should get their vaccines but If they want to not get one thats their problem not ours

 @8H3HJHKWomen’s Equality from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

I think people should be able to make their own decisions since people still can get sick when they get vaccinated

 @8GX98HQ from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8GC9N9YIndependent from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

The major ones should be mandatory but some of the newer ones can be up to the parents to decide

 @8G2NMXK from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, as long as the child is not allergic to the vaccine or will not have any sort of deadly reaction once given the vaccine.

 @8FW3FYT from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8FL77DH from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

Both require vaccination in order to attend public school and holding parents criminally liable for transferring deadly diseases to other children.

 @8FBYW6HIndependent from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, unless some other underlying health condition makes vaccination dangerous

 @8FBKGX3 from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8DS396R from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

I think it should be the parents' choice since it's their child/children

 @8DDP4H5Women’s Equality from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but only for vaccines that have been developed and proven effective with minimal to no side effects.

 @8CQB4P4 from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

I feel this should be required but also some parent don't agree with this and it's their child's life so maybe.

 @8CDVFPWRepublican from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

 @9CMSR9MLibertarian from Connecticut  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but only with vaccines proven by truly independent studies to be safe and effective.

 @99HJ72T from Connecticut  answered…2yrs2Y

It depends because I wanna say Vax your kids but like I also don't trust the government so it's hard

 @99H6LMZ from Connecticut  answered…2yrs2Y

If you have a medical or religious reason than you shouldn't have to get the vaccine.

 @99H23QPRepublican from Connecticut  answered…2yrs2Y

No, as it is the family's choice. They should be required however if they are endangering others.
