Yes, I do believe that children should be vaccinated. But some vaccinations seem unnecessary, and aren't used anymore.

It should probably be judged on a case by case basis, but vaccines that are proven safe or are needed immediately (rabies, something extremely fast acting and extremely contagious) could have more solid rules surrounding them.

It's their life, If kids don't want it, then they should be entitled to their opinion. They are still kids but we should hear what they have to say.

Unless the person has a condition where the vaccination would be dangerous, or are allergic to what's in the vaccine, yes.

 @9DJQFQL from Virginia  answered…2yrs2Y

There's a lot of natural/home remedies to use to prevent diseases in my honest opinion, especially if it works for me.

 @9DJ9XFR from Virginia  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but if it's optional then continue to allow that. You have to get certain shots at a specific age and before you go to high school or college so I think that how it works now is fine and should not be changes.

 @9GG5YB2 from Virginia  answered…2yrs2Y

No, all vaccines shouldn't be required like the COVID vaccine but the cancer preventing vaccine we get when we are young should be required

If it is a disease that anyone no matter what age can get, I think that it should be required. Especially for school. If a parent has certain religious beliefs about vaccines then their child can be exempt. If it does not effect children, I feel that parents should have the choice of letting them get it or not.

 @8XFVSMCRepublican from Virginia  answered…4yrs4Y

Vaccines should be mandated only if they have credibility, not if they have just came out or have a low success rate

 @8WXSSBHDemocrat from Virginia  answered…4yrs4Y

should be required for what’s already required. school, travel, daycare, etc for children

 @8WND7QWRepublican from Virginia  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but it's up to the families to determine if they want their children vaccinated.

 @8WFG836Peace and Freedom from Virginia  answered…4yrs4Y

certain ones should be, but it needs to be FDA approved and appropriate for the age that could be receiving the vaccine.

 @8W9GWWH from Virginia  answered…4yrs4Y

Vaccines should be required when sufficient research has been put into them to ensure their safety

 @8VXN5M5 from Virginia  answered…4yrs4Y

Only if its something like rabies, tetanus, ebola, swine flu, spanish flu, etc

 @8V4GMVL from Virginia  answered…4yrs4Y

It depends on how bad the virus is, but most of the time no one should be forced too take something

 @8S9BBQX from Virginia  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, unless for proven suspicion of a potentially threatening allergic response.

 @8NVBF7Q from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

I don't think it should be required because of many parents beliefs and rights of their children but I think it is important in some aspects to not transmit diseases and protect children at all possible.

 @8NQYT39 from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, all children should be required to have vaccinations that have been proven to stop deadly illnesses. However, if the illness if not deadly or does not meet the qualifications to be considered necessary for that child to have the vaccine, then I believe that then, and only then, can a child's caregiver exempt them from the vaccine for religious reasons.

 @8LW6GB5 from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but only after the vaccine, with thorough research has been tested and guaranteed to be safe.

 @8K4NY56Democrat from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

Its up to the Parent because they may choose what they would like to do for their child

 @8JKKSBX from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but with exceptions for those with legitimate medical conditions that prevent them from being able to be vaccinated.

 @8GWRRVP from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8DD2QJR from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

No, but require vaccines for deadly contagious diseases if the child attends public school.

 @8CVBVF8 from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8CTZ9BHIndependent from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

I believe kid's should take the vaccine only if it is safe for the child. Like if they health issues that make it unsafe, and I think it should be only for deadly diseases.

 @8CQ89D6 from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

No, They shouldn't be required by the government. It should ultimately be the parents decision.

 @8CLW42Z from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

No the government has no right to mandate any type of medically based decisions for adults or children.

 @99RH24M from Virginia  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes but exceptions for religious and if the child has an allergic problem with a certain vaccine or vaccines.

 @99FW7ZZ from Virginia  answered…2yrs2Y

No. No proof is shown to help vaccinations. ALTHOUGH IT DEFINITELY CAN BE.

 @8LH6CB7 from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes they should require it and im all for freedom of choice but when your choice is putting your child at risk for many many many diseases that are preventable then who is the bad guy me for taking that choice or you for not making that choice plus you cant even get those diseases from vaccines thats just not how they work.
