No but have some form of ID and immediately register every person who turns 18 to vote. Also, ID’s should be FREE. There’s no reason we should be paying for something the government is forcing us to have.

 @9PTSTGFIndependent from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

some form of identification at most, to prove citizenship or something. However not so far as to be harmful to people not voting.

 @9L5ZP75 from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

The only reason someone want this really for a good reason is to see if your really of age and say who you are. Other wise they are using it to see who has benefited there party, what age, ethnicity, gender extra. Really its a hard question because this is a tactic to see who they attract more, letting them get more like them on their side. Yes, I guess parties should have a way to stratigize and this is one way they can

 @9L5QKJQPeace and Freedom  from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

No, but voting should be a mandatory registration upon reaching the age of 18 and fingerprinting should be introduced in place of licenses so that there is not even a thought of voter fraud.

I think we need to show ID card before vote and check if that person can vote or not, then don't show ID card when that person voting or already voted.

 @94L4RB3Transhumanist from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

It should be but any and all required identification should be free to obtain and use especially for those who can't afford to spare money.

Yes; also photo id's (NOT driver's licenses, just identification cards) should be provided free of charge to all legal citizens over the age of 18. Also automatically register every citizen to vote at the age of 18.

 @8XRWY34 from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, this will help reduce the amount of voter fraud, and it will prevent the political left from cheating and stealing elections because they are unable to win otherwise.

 @8WSTJ2K from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

If shown any type of identification, except if expired over 5 years should be able to vote. If needing identification I don't believe an active ID should be necessary or else they wouldn't be getting a new one.

 @8W5Q353 from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes. But it should be easily available for everyone to a photo ID. Current state driver license processes are a disgrace, time consuming, and does little to prevent fraud in obtaining the license for those that want to put forth just a little effort. Currently available technology should be used to make the state ID process quick, easy, and secure with almost no chance of fraud

 @8SH3CS7Independent from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8CVJJVWAlliance from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

If you are voting in person yes. But a law needs to be passed that requires a person to get a state issued Identification Card at the age of 18 and at the time of doing that you must be required to register to vote if you are not a felon.

 @9CZSVQ2 from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9C8BLDL from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9BYTW2J from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, if the government is to provide these IDs to all citizens for free and automatically register citizens to vote on their 18th birthday. If not, then no, just automatic voter registration

 @9BTHM9MPeace and Freedom from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

I mean you’re jus voting why does it matter what you look like and who you are but I don’t really care if they ask for one because it’s not that serious.I would just show them an ID.

A photo ID should be required in order to vote to see if thats the persons real name and in not giving random names.
