Yes, this will prevent voter fraud, but guarantee every citizen eligible to vote gets one at no cost

 @9ZJDLC6Constitution from Ohio  answered…8mos8MO

Yes, federal laws should be passed to require a photo ID to vote in all 50 states and a federal prohibition on non-citizens voting in any elections

 @9Y2D8QVRepublican from Kansas  answered…8mos8MO

Yes, to prove that they are old enough and to prove that they could be a legal resident of out country.

 @9XHHPJ8Republican from California  answered…8mos8MO

Maybe, but a person should have their receipt or some sort of proof they are a citizen able to vote.

 @9X53Z4RRepublican from Ohio  answered…8mos8MO

yes in all states and all states should have record of people who voted in other states so no cheating can happen

 @9WLTD4BRepublican from Ohio  answered…8mos8MO

they need more than just that so they it ins't a illigle immagrant that is trying bleed america out.

 @9WJLYHHRepublican from Indiana  answered…8mos8MO

Yes, let 18 year old get an "ID" that says when they turned 18 so that in later years you still have to be 21 for drinking and whatever else.

 @9WFQ99VRepublican from Minnesota  answered…8mos8MO

Yes, or they should be required to provide a birth cert and social security card, if they do not have a drivers license

 @9VTCD88Republican  from Idaho  answered…9mos9MO

Proof of citizenship and photo ID should be required. A state D.L. is a photo ID but does not prove citizenship.

 @9VQG5GDRepublican from Minnesota  answered…9mos9MO

I feel that it would not matter whether or not you use photo ID somewhere someone will still find a way to cheat it.

 @9VFZSMCRepublican from Kansas  answered…9mos9MO

Yes and No, it stops voter fraud and it sucks when people's licenses get stolen or broke or lost and they can't vote unless they have it.

 @9VBHDVVRepublican from Kentucky  answered…9mos9MO

yes because it could help with fraud and people using other identities to vote just because they like one representative over the other so they could have more votes.

 @9V9LX5ZRepublican from Nevada  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, however any form of solid documentation proving they are a legal citizen of the United States should be allowed

 @9V4S8JVRepublican from Minnesota  answered…9mos9MO

I think all citizens should automatically be registered. I do think we need a system to authenticate voters to prevent fraud. Need to leverage the use of technology.

 @9V49KLQRepublican from Utah  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, but there should be ways to circumvent the requirement for cases such as: Plastic Surgery, major health changes, or other extenuating circumstances.

 @9TW2QHYRepublican from Texas  answered…9mos9MO

Photo ID should be required to vote but have several different types of photo ID available at little or no charge.

 @9TRN7MXRepublican from Utah  answered…9mos9MO

yes, but only citizens who have gone through the process of becoming a citizen should be able to vote.

 @9TPHBWQRepublican from Texas  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, and their should be U.S. citizenship requirements added to it, I do not believe a person first walking into our country should be allowed to vote.

 @9TPCG7ZRepublican from North Carolina  answered…9mos9MO

Maybe, so we would know how many people are actually voting and if anybody is faking votes so that we could tell

 @9TLT2B3Republican from Oregon  answered…10mos10MO

Yes, it is absolutely necessary. If we do not want to destroy the republic and become a total dictatorship to totalitarian country right now we are a totalitarian society is the mainstream media has been biased for years with over 90% of the people in mainstream media being Democrats and Deming Democrats having no compunction for fairness, republicanism or freedom. They are not liberals they are Como fascist oc fasco communist. They’re not liberals because they are not for liberty.

 @9SPZ9JDRepublican from Missouri  answered…10mos10MO

Yes, because this will obtain none to minimum fraud, and no non united states citizens voting for united states.

 @9S9PMXYRepublican from Colorado  answered…11mos11MO

Every person that trys to vote must have legal ID. No voting by mail on fist time voting. Must be a us citizen, not a docca or green card. Can't be dual after five years!!

 @9PR8T4CAmerican Solidarity from Connecticut  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, but such ID should be provided free of charge and there should be programs to ensure universal access to ID

 @9MSBFY8Republican from Pennsylvania  answered…1yr1Y

It would be good for young voters and to wage cheating war with the left and save America from the globe left

 @9KKTHZZConstitutionanswered…1yr1Y

Use block chain technology so that US citizen voters can vote from anywhere but only be able to vote once per election.

 @9JL3RRSRepublican from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, but also accept other forms of ID such as a birth certificate to make voting as accessible as possible.

 @9J7335WConstitution from Idaho  answered…1yr1Y

I don't really care, people should be aloud to vote if they wish, and not vote if they don't want to

 @9J6JN89Republican from Pennsylvania  answered…1yr1Y

i think that we should just keep it how it is. the first time you go and vote you showit but after that you should not have to

 @9J6GCS7American Solidarity from Illinois  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, but don't make the system complicated in ways that excludes/restrict different demographics from voting

 @9HK5KZHRepublican from Idaho  answered…2yrs2Y

I believe that a voter should provide some form of citizenship when going to vote on local and federal election.

 @9HDKR6WRepublican from Kentucky  answered…2yrs2Y

in order for us to be able to get the correct vote if we use photo id then we know if there are illegals in our state and we will be only to vote once and no more cheating

 @9HCPVBVRepublican from Utah  answered…2yrs2Y

I was not aware of this issue I personally think that its not a big deal either way ID can make sure voters fraud is not committed but its not necessarily super important.

 @9H8MP2MRepublicananswered…2yrs2Y

Yes, and create a program to get photo id's to the people (how the hell no one in gov't came to THIS compromise is kinda damning...)

 @9H5N43TRepublican  from Montana  answered…2yrs2Y

I do think that you should, if possible, but if you don't, then thats ok, like if you can't get one becasue you have no transportation, then thats fine.

 @9GVLXK3Republican from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Only if photo ID is provided to all without cost (Gov't must bear all expenses associated with ID they want folks to have to vote.)

 @9GL973LRepublican from North Dakota  answered…2yrs2Y

You should need some form of identification that proves you are a legal US citizen to vote that everyone is able to obtain. Since it can be difficult for homeless people, some foster kids, and other people to get a real ID which is now required or to get a birth certificate if lost there should be something that allows those people to vote since they are legal US citizens.

 @9GKCWKMRepublican from South Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

Low income people should get an id for free or reduced rate because everyone should have an ID. You are supposed to have one to work and fly.

 @9GHF6JKRepublican from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

Up to the states to decide but everyone should be automatically registered to vote at 18 and given a photo ID registration card

 @9GDWZHBRepublican from Ohio  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, because it will prevent voter fraud, help make sure it's a legal U.S. citizen, but every citizen should automatically be registered to vote.

 @9G92GWMRepublican from Louisiana  answered…2yrs2Y

If you are a legal citizen of America and you can prove that and you are 18 you should be allowed to vote.

 @9FQNDHRConstitution from Ohio  answered…2yrs2Y

Voter ID, such as driver's licenses, Social security cards, birth certificates, military ID, etc. should required to vote in all elections

 @9FPP6MWRepublican from Illinois  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9FPMJRBRepublican from Idaho  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9FMZFX8Republican from California  answered…2yrs2Y

i am in the middle again because identity fraud could happen,but i feel like just a quick check making sure people are elligible and its actually them would be ok

 @9FMLVBKRepublican from Illinois  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9FLXM9KRepublican from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes just make it free and all you need is citizenship. So that we know if someone has voted or not.

 @9FKR2NLRepublican from California  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, an Id is required for so much less, to do a U.S Citizen Act and perform and participate in it is bare minimum to identify yourself

Yes, but only if the requirement applies to all government-issued photo IDs and does not overcomplicate the process of voting or disenfranchise legitimate votes

 @9DC6LL3Republican from South Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

Absolutely YES! If you can get ID to buy cigarettes, alcohol & social benefits you can get/use it to vote!

 @943X9XJConstitution from Virginia  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8Q29L26Republican  from New York  commented…4yrs4Y

Yes Yes, this will prevent voter fraud

Yes, because I'm almost 100% sure that Joe Biden cheated. The ballot counts weren't even able to be overseen during the counting. What does that tell you? That Biden cheated.

 @9BWMFGQRepublican from Tennessee  answered…2yrs2Y

I think yes but say for instance someone doesn't have it with them or they lost it then they should be allowed to be looked up in the system to see if their a citizen

 @9BQ8WCZRepublican from Massachusetts  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9BN4HPLAmerican Solidarity from Vermont  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but provide these IDs at no cost with the lowest possible barrier to access for those who are eligible

 @99Y2MN6Republican from Missouri  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, because people will try and Identity theft if they didn't have a ID

 @99TFSWRRepublican from Tennessee  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, because you don't want the same person to come over and over again as a different person just to be able to vote morethan once.

 @96QFR5JConstitution from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, this will prevent voter fraud, but integrate it into their Civilian or Military ID Cards rather than making a separate card.

 @95LPF44Republican from Illinois  answered…3yrs3Y

Just put every citizen on the draft, give them a card, give them an id card to use and be done with it so we can stop arguing over this.

 @95DRTJPConstitution from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

if they don't have a photo in their id if they can tell and show their id and say most of the info in the id they will be good

 @95CKK44American Solidarity from California  answered…3yrs3Y

 @95BWK4QRepublican from Virginia  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but resources for a photo I.D. should be provided to those who cannot obtain it on their own
