“I think there are special circumstances to this. Even if a person does get a job, like at mcdonalds; chances they are getting paid minimum wage. Minimum wage does not support a family sufficiently even before taxes. They would still need assistance with something one way or an other. I dont like how the government doesnt take transportation into consideration when applying for benifits either. Some places dont have public transportation to get to and from, also for some people it is easier to get approved by a bank to get in a new car compared to a used car. No matter what the inflation is so high that even a person making 12$ an hour barely supports a family of 4 and thats without having anything to put towards savings.”
