County Charter Amendment 1 will ament the Pinellas County Charter to lower the number of signed petitions necessary to propose an amendment to the Pinellas County Charter from ten (10) percent of the registered voters in the county to eight (8) percent, and to expand the length of time during which petitions can be gathered from 180 days to 240 days.  See recent County Charter Amendment 1 news
