“No. It has been traditional, in spite of what the media has falsely reported, that presidents in their last year of office do not get to appoint a Supreme Court nominee and have them voted on. If the Senate Judiciary Committee wants to start investigating this nominee, that would be fine, but a full senate vote should not occur unless the next president also nominates him.”
