Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
L>L Personal answerI am pro choice. However abortions should not be performed after a certain amount of time (12 weeks) unless there is an immediate threat to the mothers life. At this point increased options support and funding for adoption should be offered by the government. |
L>L Personal answer
L>L Personal answerThe question is not written great. Quantify “Rich” millionaire? Billionaire? Liquid or asset based? Or just someone who makes over the 6 figure threshold but has minimal outgoing? In my opinion, if you are a billionaire you should be paying more tax regardless of assets or liquid. If your net worth is one billion and one dollars you now fall in to the billionaire tax bracket. There are no loopholes for this where you borrow money against your wealth and make it look like you made a loss thus getting out of paying tax. That is for individuals. Corporations that are of a certain threshold need to pay their share and not have access to the the loopholes they have. There should be incentives to keep them in the USA tax system, rather than them moving to off shore to avoid tax. Corporations that keep it American and hire Americans creating wealth for Americans and raising the economy can tap in to tax incentives to lower their bracket. |
Critical Race Theory in K-12 Education
L>L Personal answerYes, but not until they are teenagers |
L>L Personal answerNo I support decreasing military spending in peace time to provide more education funding. |
Free College for All
L>L Personal answerYea for partial tuition, if there is some kind of money out of pocket for advanced education it makes the stakes of completion higher to the individuals. We can make it affordable though so individuals don’t leave university with insane debt. There can be indentures with specific kinds of Jobs too where an individual with student debt can go in to a needed line of work relevant to their degree and have their debt wiped since it advanced the countries interests. |
L>L Personal answerNo, if we don’t provide free healthcare for our own poverty stricken citizens then we should not be providing free healthcare to illegal immigrants. If they are in the system and paperwork is being processed for honest entry then they should be given access to treatment for life threatening illness providing the same rights are extended to citizens. Refugees are a separate case and would need to be treated by different process. |
Alaska Wildlife Refuge
L>L Personal answerNo, and increase alternative energy subsidies to eliminate our dependence on fossil fuels |
COVID Employment Health Pass
L>L Personal answerThis is utterly ridiculous. No one should be forced to put anything in to their body by anyone. EVER |
Defunding the Police
L>L Personal answerPolice should be vetted more before being hired. There should be 3 strike rule for officers who are bad actors. Community based programs should be funded regardless of police. There should be “Peace officers” available for none violent issues who are sent with a police backup, but the police are not active on-site unless situations turn sour. Peace officers handle the issue unless it takes a turn at which point the police on site would intervene. |
L>L Personal answer不 |
Demilitarize the Police
L>L Personal answerNo, extreme situations should be handled by higher agencies with specialized training and equipment |
L>L Personal answer
L>L Personal answerI think all insurance and medical coverage is a scam. This country’s healthcare system is rigged. There is a way to have a free healthcare system through taxation and decreased military spending. It works in Europe and can work here. It doesn’t mean wiping out the private insurance market but it gives options for low and medium income households. |
Electoral College
L>L Personal answerYes, and switch to a representative democracy (popular vote) system |
L>L Personal answerI think this is subject to intelligence on threats. There are so many greater places the military budget could be spent on in peacetime. Currently I think since relations with China and Russia are tepid, we should continue along our same spends with a goal of diplomatically reducing tensions, then bringing down the spend and redirecting that money to other areas of need like education, Veteran affairs, technology on shore or renewable energy research. Half of our conflicts are based around energy and technology. Spend more here rely less on others then we just need to defend not attack. |
L>L Personal answerYes but it shouldn’t be profit prioritized. It should be safety prioritized. If privately owned taxbreaks for high safety standards verified by federal level government safety officers can be awarded. If government owned then there has to be high standards and check and balances to ensure safety is the highest priority. |
L>L Personal answer
Housing › Homeless Encampments
L>L Personal answerIt depends, there’s no clean cut reason for them saying no. They should be offered support, but if they refuse then maybe there should be designated encampment areas where they are free to pitch up. These areas are moderated and regulated through a government funded scheme to regulate crime and drug abuse. |
L>L Personal answerYes in major metropolitan areas where there is an excess of vehicle use. There should be cheap public transport and incentives not to bring single occupancy commuter cars in to the city. |
Military Congressional Approval
L>L Personal answerNo, Congress should approve all military conflicts |
Paris Climate Agreement
L>L Personal answerOur input should not be greater than that of any other country. If everyone is increasing then we should. |
Foreign Assassination
L>L Personal answerYes, but only if there is undeniable evidence they are planning to attack our country |
