The proposed Arkansas Elected Officials Ethics, Transparency and Financial Reform Amendment, also known as HJR 1009, would permit legislators to serve a total of 16 years in the House or Senate, form a separate, seven-member commission to determine state elected officials' salaries, and establish limits on lobbying efforts by former legislators and campaign donations and gifts from lobbyists.
