The United States has been in NATO since its founding at the end of World War II and we have been its biggest contributor since then. The United States should remain in NATO, but several things have to change. The first thing that needs to happen is an all countries in NATO must increase their contributions, by increasing their military and or their military industrial complex to provide arms and equipment either for their own military or to help Is the United States in its role. Yes, but only on the condition that the other member states are required to maintain their budget quotas and armament preparation. The United States should no longer be the primary armer and cash cow for the alliance.
