Yes, for the sake of good trade, low unemployment, a good supply chain, job creation, low energy prices, and low inflation.

 @B4D6KHP from Georgia  answered…3mos3MO

Yes, for the sake of good trade, a good supply chain, a low unemployment rate, job creation, low inflation, and low energy prices.

 @B3ZYM5D from Georgia  answered…4mos4MO

Yes, because this will help the United States maintain energy independence, low energy prices, good trade, a good GDP, a good supply chain, a low unemployment rate, and booming job creation

 @B2LN3S5No Labels from Georgia  answered…5mos5MO

No, we should be putting research and development into new sustainable resources. Oil and fuel is a dated resource, we have the technology to make things better

 @9WFM8BLIndependent from Georgia  answered…8mos8MO

Yes, as long as they implement cleaner technologies in the oil extraction process, to reduce the effects of fossil fuel extraction

 @9T47998 from Georgia  answered…10mos10MO

Yes, but make sure they are regulated well, IE, prompt them to use renewables to power the drilling and limit the use of gas flaring and promote alternatives of it

 @9T47998 from Georgia  answered…10mos10MO

Yes, but much sure they are regulated well, IE, prompt them to use renewables to power the drilling and limit the use of gas flaring and promote alternatives of it

 @9RBKB9N from Georgia  answered…12mos12MO

We should maintain our current energy means while we reach a better alternative for nuclear energy. Nuclear energy is much safer and cleaner than it is made to be, but we shouldn't immediately destroy thousands of jobs and out America in an energy crisis before we are ready to convert.

 @9NCW7BK from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

Yes - carefully as we have had some desasterous spills in the past. So they must show that in the event of strong storms/waves/etc. they have safety standards met.

 @9JY4VHN from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, there is no reason to buy oil from Russia and give them money, because we have oil in the United States.

 @9J9LKTV from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

No, maintain current offshore oil wells while also providing more incentives for alternative production to shift towards alternative energy over time.

 @9J53G52 from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

Yes but once one oil drilling section dries up move it someewhere else. Move of increase the ability to oil drill in the same place

 @9HV7S79 from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

Nationalizing our energy supplies such as (oil, coal, natural gasses and more). In the mean time while we fix our energy situation we can still use foreign assets but if our prices our are threatened we can be able to soften the economic blow.

 @9HPPZRX from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

I don't think we should ban over shore drilling but I do think it should be more regulated and be controlled. People should still be able to drill off shore because we can not just put a big ban across the board of it because we can not afford that as a country

 @9H97Y9WDemocrat from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, because if we can stop importing oil from the middle east, we can withdraw our reliance on other countries.

 @9H78V7F from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

I feel like if nature survived well all the years, centurys before humans even existed, then we should stop messing it up and ruining our planet with all this new stuff thats doing more harm then good.

 @9H45VCN from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

Depends on the cost v reward. We should be seeking to be self-sufficient, but I also believe we should be moving to alternative forms of energy as a whole.

 @9GYYD8KRepublican from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

yes and no yes becuase we dont want to have to rely on other countires for supplys and also no becuase we will run out faster and worst for the earth.

 @9FMKQHG from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

I think we shouldn't expand and maintain the current ones, but still find another way to make gas cheaper.

 @9FL8M75 from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9FBF9C8Peace and Freedom from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes it should be doing by Baptists, Lutherans, Episcopals, Bible Churches and other Republican churches that do oil drilling I guess

 @9DJ6VBH from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

No. Maintain our current offshore oil wells until we can completely transition to renewable energy.

 @9DC98JZ from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

 @96JF2W2 from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, until more alternative energy production is started in order to decrease our reliance on foreign oil but also nationalize it

 @95WGD5V from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

 @95MJ9YD from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

We need to provide more incentives for alternative energy production while in the meantime maintaining our current offshore wells

 @95LBB95 from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

I have mixed feelings on this one, on one hand I think we need to become less reliant on foreign oil that unfortunately often comes from countries with poor human rights records on the other hand it is bad for the environment so I would say yes until we can get more alternatives in place

 @954GX9Z from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but only for as long it will take to find a more concise method of an energy source

 @9494LGZ from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

 @93STKGH from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

 @93SF2LLIndependent from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

No, but maintain the current offshore oil wells only until feasible alternatives are available

 @93Q79JG from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes but hold companies 100% fiscally responsible for clean up of spills.

 @93LN8HY from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, If done in accordance with world environmental protection standards

 @92YFVFJ from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

No, but it is okay to maintain current offshore oil wells. Instead find ways for alternative energy production to fossil fuels, and provide incentives for it.

 @92T8622 from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

 @92838XXIndependent from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

No, but maintain our current offshore oil wells, and slowly but surely nationalize the energy sector.

 @8YNRTHD from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8YKM7X9 from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

I think it is pretty good right now considering the United States is solely on resources at the moment

 @8YC66K2 from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8XWDPXG from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8WHF2SS from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8VTX6ZS from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

We should remove regulations that force companies to drill in extremely deep water because it leads to more catastrophic consequences when there is an accident.

 @8THP9VX from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

The government should not have control over oil drilling but rather layout some basic ground rules for safety and give tax incentives for

 @8SGYBKD from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

Both maintaining our current oil wells, as well as deregulating the energy sector.

 @8S8K6SV from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8S7ZYN5 from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

No they should just reduce it cause if something goes wrong then all of the worlds water could get majorly ruined by oil and that bugs me

 @8S6M9XM from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

Possible pollution can be produced in the process of offshore oil drilling, so I can see this being a serious issue.

 @8S5M59X from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8RYSYSJ from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

Allow offshore drilling, under the condition that the oil gets converted to electricity and that all CO2 is then stored underground.

 @8RX2YJL from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

They should increase per our needs, but decrease as green energy becomes cheaper and more efficient.

 @8RLVZJ4 from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

Provide/find alternative energies while slowly using less and less of the offshore oil drilling so that it makes less damage to economy.

 @8RJRTJF from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8RHLX6P from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8RGQB5X from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes but in order to do so we should do more research on these areas and expand safety regulations to keep oil spills from happening

 @8R973FBLibertarian from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8R6NQWLRepublican from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

We have plenty of oil in the US and we shouldn't be pay other countries for oil. We should be drilling our own.

 @8R2ZP22 from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8QW9T2DSocialist from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

No, and nationalize the energy sector in order to more effectively transition to renewable sources.

 @8QVWDTZ from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, as long as the location for the oil drilling is not harming any endangered species or environment in the ocean.

 @8QVRG2Q from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

no, promote more alternative energy production and drastically minimize oil drilling.

 @8QQLQ2LIndependent from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8QPVHSR from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8QNPSHB from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but slowly replace the jobs in the oil industry with jobs in the electrical power or other industries to combat unemployment.

 @8QLWHGL from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but companies should be held liable for damages to oceans and must halt production until the problem is solved.

 @8QFLJH7Libertarian from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8Q8TTB6 from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

If needed they should. However, incentives for alternate energy should be placed as reliable alternate energy should be a priority.

 @8Q6WTHK from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

Not well informed about this question. Therefore I have no stance on it.

 @8Q5596P from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

No, at the same time research into more alternative energy production as well as oil until we find an energy source that is more cost effective and efficient
