Illegal immigrants, as well as legal immigrants in the country less than five years, are not eligible for free healthcare through Medicaid. A 2007 study estimated that less than 1 percent of Medicaid spending went to healthcare for illegal immigrants. Proponents of subsidized healthcare for immigrants argue that increased access to basic preventive care will lower the demand for costly emergency care. Opponents argue that immigrants in the healthcare system run the risk of becoming "permanent patients," because they have no relatives, insurance or an established address where they can go once released.

Stop giving people incentives to break our laws! Illegals past and present should be rounded up and sent home. No citizenship for their illegal childbirths. No free lunch. No free ride (except to send them back home; really, though, they should pay for that as well, but I'm sure most couldn't afford it after paying their coyotes to smuggle them here illegally).

@ZenZenPeace and Freedom7mos7MO
Absolutely not.If they come in illegially no they do not have the right and should be deported from where they came from however if its a legal immigrant then yes absolutely.

Why would an illegal immigrant pay taxes? It's very simple, if you are an ILLEGAL immigrant you have no constitutional rights in this country. If you are a LEGAL immigrant you should get the same rights and benefits as any other legal citizen.

All children should be covered in every aspect. Nutrition, education, healthcare, housing etc etc whatever resources and necessities children need should be covered no matter where they came from or what the circumstance may be. Children are innocent and have no say in where they ended up or what decisions the “responsible” party made.
