Yes, but only if the children were born here, and it would not grant their parents citizenship as well, they would still have to submit a formal application.

 @trinkalsGreen  from Ohio  answered…10mos10MO

Yes, revamp the system to make it much easier for citizenship, penalize those who hire illegals under the table

 @9SBSJ6W from Ohio  answered…11mos11MO

Yes as long as they have been here since before they turned 6 years old. And/or been here for 5 or more years.

 @9RWYCZ7 from Texas  answered…11mos11MO

Yes, but their parents should be provided a green card or visa to stay and raise the child. Not automatic citizenship

 @9PWGJX5  from California  answered…1yr1Y

Only children born to citizens and permanent residents should be granted birthright citizenship. After 7 years residency then children of undocumented parents brought or born here should be granted humanitarian asylum

 @2H4XQ2KDemocrat from New York  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, and after a certain number of years of residency in America, anyone should be eligible for full citizenship.

 @9KDCL6WGreen from California  answered…1yr1Y

Yes but only if their parents are given the same citizenship. But the process for their parents should be easier and more efficient so that people can become US citizens and contribute to a forward-growing nation.

 @9KC7KKX from California  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, if immigration is a priority for their parents and the children understand the reason behind their immigration if they support it. The existing situation should cause their immigration, not out of personal greed. The children will rarely be that greedy, but can be more loyal than their parents to this land.

 @9JYMNP5Socialist from Virginia  answered…1yr1Y

Yes after 6 months and no criminal activity I would allow them to apply for citizenship like anyone else.

 @9HK6CMJfrom New York  answered…2yrs2Y

If you’re born here. You’re born here. Doesn’t matter if your parents were illegitimate- you technically are born here. I’m a man of facts and logic. That’s the only logical reasoning

 @9GH6X5Y from Oregon  answered…2yrs2Y

If the children were born in the area immigrated to, then technically they are citizens. So it depends on the circumstances.

 @9FVY2KMGreen from Ohio  answered…2yrs2Y

No, not because they are ALL dangerous, it is because I would rather leave a child with their families and be deported than let the child in foster care and lose their biological parents.

  @novasaizah  from Minnesota  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, if they are 15 and under. If they are 16, then they would have to formally apply and test.

 @9FMSV2BProgressive from Missouri  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes if they were born here but that shouldn't automatically give parents citizenship, just the baby. They're grown adults they can take a test.

 @9F4G7RM from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9X7S3Y7Libertarian from Maryland  answered…8mos8MO

They should apply for citizenship but all people applying for citizenship should have an easy access to it because it takes a long time to become a citizen so the government should make it easier to become a citizen.

 @9F44448  from Idaho  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, if they were born here, the parent(s) pay taxes, and the parent should also be granted citizenship if they produce a child within the country ONLY if they pay taxes and take responsibility for the child.

 @93HWGW5Green from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, so long as their parents go through the proper channels to be naturalized and are paying taxes.

 @8ZDCZM3Green from North Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8YQPCRX from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes if they were born here, and or if they had been brought here when they were younger.

 @8YC6RZC from New York  answered…3yrs3Y

No, and no one should be granted citizenship automatically just because they were born here

 @8YC5YGYGreen from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but their parents and them if over 12 should get a background check.

 @8W8L4LKGreen from Michigan  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8V8YGCS from California  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, if they were born within 50 miles of the border, and attend school in the US

 @8SM7ZYT from New Hampshire  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but they should be granted a green card they can easily renew. They should be given all of the same assistances and benefits citizens can receive. They have to pay taxes to be eligible for things like disability, welfare, financial aid for their education

 @8RWHY2RGreen from Arizona  commented…4yrs4Y

Unless at least one parent of a child is a US citizen, they should not automatically be granted US citizenship because it only causes confusion and difficulty for our immigration system. This law needs to change!

 @8RTG3YBGreen from Colorado  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes they are too young to be expected to go through the long process of becoming a citizen, only if they are under 18 years old though

 @8RJ4CDW from New Mexico  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, only if one parent is a legal citizen, either by birth or residency status

 @8QZ9SPMfrom Northern Mariana Islands  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, the constitution gives people citizenship if they are born in the U.S.

 @8QSFBPH from Colorado  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8QRLMB3 from California  answered…4yrs4Y

I think that if they have children, both the parents and the children should be granted citizenship. But, there should be a process that they have to go through to get it.

 @8Q27JPFGreen from California  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8PRVVVB from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

there should be no legal or illegal immigrant. anyone who migrates to a new country should be allowed documentation right away.

 @8N2J7WJGreen from New Hampshire  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8HL3GM3 from New Hampshire  answered…5yrs5Y

No, but they will be granted citizenship when their parents obtain theirs.

 @9CLXBXZ from Utah  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, and their parents should be provided with a far easier path to citizenship, so long as they are not involved in any violent crime.

 @4PHTJFXGreenanswered…3yrs3Y

 @977BZG5Green from Wisconsin  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes but they should be taken through the process of obtaining citizeship like an immigrant moving to america.

 @973VBGN from North Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

yes, as long as they go through the process of citizenship same with their parents

 @95ZDD4J from Colorado  answered…3yrs3Y

 @amarkus2022 from Minnesota  answered…3yrs3Y

 @93GFY58Green from Maryland  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8WWQSR4Green from New Jersey  answered…4yrs4Y

No immigration should be illegal, and every immigrant should gain citizenship.

 @9XKPXVLGreen from North Carolina  answered…8mos8MO

They should legally and properly apply citizenship here and if their children are born here then they can be granted born citizenship with legal paperwork.
