We should make it easier for immigrants to become US citizens after conducting background checks that way this wouldn't become a problem.

They are born here and they should have citizenship and provide their parents a path to citizenship. Everyone needs to accounted for and recorded to ensure they are productive members of society and be put to on a path to citizenship.This way taxes are being paid so dollars earned will support the country and government they live in. This will elevate the fear of being deported and incentivize them to active members of society.

The family needs to be contribute to society for approximately 7 years and then they will be granted citizenship

If they've been here for at least 4 years. That way if their parents get deported they won't be held here without parents.

At what age? If they're born here, they're American citizens as far as I'm concerned. If they're adults, then, no. It's that inbetween group that we have a problem. So, for the inbetweens, let's assume they moved legally, have them spend the number of years to be 'naturalized' and make them take the citizenship test and, if they pass, they're a citizen.

It depends on how long the child in question has resided in the U.S., if they were raised entirely in the U.S. then they should not face punishment.

 @8R6RMDK from Rhode Island  answered…5yrs5Y

I think they should have to formally apply, unless if the children and family are in a life threatening situation at their home country if this is the case, they should be granted temporary visa's until we can figure out a solution in cooperation with their home country.

Yes, as long as they are not criminals or terrorists they are more then welcome and should be granted citizenship. However violent criminals and terrorists should be deported.
