The 14th amendment of the U.S. constitution states that “All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.” Opponents of birth right citizenship argue that the 14th amendment is not clear since it does not specifically state that babies born to parents who were in the United States unlawfully were automatically citizens. Proponents argue that overturning the 14th amendment would increase the number of undocumented immigrants with each child born here, cost the U.S. taxpayers billions, and reduce the tax base.

Yes, and so should the parent, but the parent shouldn't be allowed to vote until they've spent 2 years in the U.S. and should be held to all laws its citizens are held to and should have mandatory health screening for the whole family. Further actions, weather vaccination or other medical needs should then be met to avoid forieghn disease. (This should be very strict, and I feel that if the immigrants have no where to go or have a contages disease, they should be deported.) Also, the immigrants have to become legal citizens to stay.
In my opinion yes. Because frankly it's not really their fault. If they were taken over here by their parents. It's not like they have a choice. Their children. They can't do anything without their parents say so. So it's not like they could make the decision to stay where ever they came from.
