No. Instead, we should find ways to reduce the costs of healthcare so that more people can afford it.

 @9MK5JQR from North Dakota  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, to an extent. Some people use it that is well able. They are just lazy, but the people who are shouldn't have the ability to be on Obamacare.

When are we going to break up the AMA monopoly and train enough medical students to be doctors/nurses/technicians?
Seriously why can't we allow other respected medical associations to practice medicine here in the USA on a trial basis and monitor how well they perform?
Why can't we require clearly written and easy to access and search for prices for services?

 @9D6RXY2 from North Dakota  answered…2yrs2Y

No, either an open market or a single payer system, not this mess in the middle

 @99FWQXZ from North Dakota  answered…2yrs2Y

government should not provide you with health care if you are poor. Like the poor who have drug use.

There should be an open market for procedure coverages outsode of a "major category", at which point the government should step in and cover costs.

 @96MM8WV from North Dakota  answered…3yrs3Y

No, I support portions of the plan, but it needs revisions and it should be updated.

 @96L4RZC from North Dakota  answered…3yrs3Y

No, it’s weak and just puts the people who wanted it in a smaller prison cell.

 @95BVM8N from North Dakota  answered…3yrs3Y

I support elderly and disabled but not drug users who are in jail to have it

I don't have a clue what that is, and I don't think it's a good idea for me to make a decision right at this moment.

 @8VHYYKMIndependent from North Dakota  answered…4yrs4Y

No, a universal healthcare plan of any variety would be more effective.

No, there needs to be a nationwide free healthcare which supports people regardless of wealth. People in less fortunate wealth shouldn't be punished for being unable to afford care between the entire families. Any payment is too much.

Make politicians have the same as American people. Policies would change in a heart beat

 @8ML4TMY from North Dakota  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes but, at the same time it should have been put in place better and has alot of grey.

 @8LZM646 from North Dakota  answered…5yrs5Y

I don't believe the government should penalize anyone for not choosing to purchase a product or service.

 @8LKTZK2 from North Dakota  answered…5yrs5Y

No, and insurance should be re-work ed to a system symular to car insurance. Routine maintenance is not covered (you get that via direct primary care) and catistropic coverage is less regulated.

 @8L8LNP4Peace and Freedom from North Dakota  answered…5yrs5Y

I think obamacare is not the best but its better then nothing and its a start

 @8JHHDVN from North Dakota  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but individuals should not be punished with taxes if they cannot afford it.

 @8JDTS36 from North Dakota  answered…5yrs5Y

The government should provide free health care to those who can’t afford it and regulate how much hospitals can charge.

 @8J275F8Republican from North Dakota  answered…5yrs5Y

No, open the markets so insurers can compete across state lines and reduce costs. The penalty for the individual mandate should never be reinstated. Protections for people with pre-existing conditions should be maintained and individuals should be allowed to stay on their parent's insurance policies for an extended period of time.

 @8F3PXH9 from North Dakota  answered…5yrs5Y

No, open the markets so consumers can make choices on where to go, which will make health care providers compete and reduce costs

 @8D69HCV from North Dakota  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8CZS4PW from North Dakota  answered…5yrs5Y

I believe there should be a base standard that you can earn if you pay taxes or have a disability, and can earn credits based on being a student, parent or other things but after that private health care takes over

 @8CNMZTG from North Dakota  answered…5yrs5Y

No. It caused prices of insurance and services to sky rocket. It is still cheaper for many to pay the penalty than to get insurance!!! Healthcare to needs to be better and affordable for citizens. The doctors don’t need to be millionaires while the nurses make nothing and citizens end up with a lifetime of bills for an accident!

 @8CLRSL7Libertarian from North Dakota  answered…5yrs5Y

No, I support open markets with a government option and insurance should not be able to drop someone who has pre-existing conditions or who get terminally ill.

 @9CD9VHZ from North Dakota  answered…2yrs2Y

no, because it is a mess get rid of it and just have the government say they will provid free health care

 @986J9TX from North Dakota  answered…3yrs3Y

i kind of do because it helps people who need it but we shouldn't have to pay more on taxes for those people

 @97YDCSC from North Dakota  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, employers should be required to offer healthcare, but consumers shouldn't be required to have it.

 @8YM5CP8 from North Dakota  answered…3yrs3Y

I mean I think it is a good idea gone wrong... if someone is a drug addict and had to use obamacare and then after they kept on using drugs... if they aren't going to try and stop what is the point... but on the other hand, it gives people second chances.

 @8W6NQ4QRepublican from North Dakota  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8TRXNLS from North Dakota  answered…4yrs4Y

No, making it mandatory to purchase a private companies product is unconstitutional.

 @8DX57BW from North Dakota  answered…5yrs5Y

No, The Government can think of a more affordable and wide spread healthcare system
