Yes, but while the government can help, it shouldn't be heavily involved and it shouldn't punish those that do not need it.

 @B2RLDDT from California  answered…5mos5MO

The federal government should reform the affordable care act and provide a public option at a fixed cost to all Americans that covers all necessary healthcare

 @9RR8KD6 from California  answered…11mos11MO

Yes, so long as it’s working towards free universal healthcare for all those visiting, or residing in the U.S.

 @9RFP3GHPopulist from California  answered…12mos12MO

I support government funded Healthcare insurance and private insurance based on income brackets. But the insurance providers and medical providers must be drastically overhauled. Medical providers charge hugely inflated sums to the insurance companies because they know they will pay it. It's borderline fraud on the levels of organized crime. The Government must break up this scheme between the two in order to reduce costs to the patient. Paying for insurance AND paying the medical cost is blatant extortion.

 @9LLK5YC from California  answered…1yr1Y

The government shouldn't be involved in the system, but instead we should be regulating private insurers.

 @9JXMLJQ from California  answered…1yr1Y

I think that free health care is not good for the economy as it drastically increases taxes however things such as private healthcare is fair as long as it is paid for personally, additionally I don't agree with free healthcare as providers may cut corners to create lesser quality products.

 @9DCC4HN from California  answered…2yrs2Y

I think it’s great to have financial coverage for those with pre-existing conditions and having more big rich businesses provide coverage to their employees if it’s not a financial burden for them, but maybe shouldn’t apply to those businesses who aren’t making enough profit to afford that. As for healthy individuals, this shouldn’t mean increase cost for them to get healthcare. It should be affordable. There needs to be a fair balance for everyone.

 @8GPDRR9 from California  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes and no. Because people can just take too much advantage and people who really need it don’t get it

 @9CBL6NJSocialist from California  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9B85H7DProgressive from California  answered…2yrs2Y

No. It’s a handout to insurance companies. Only single payer is ethical.

 @96K6WCP from California  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but also open the market to lower costs through competition. But keep some government provided health care for impoverished citizens

Yes I support the plan but I think everyone should work and be given the care as a benefit of working.

 @9384G7PWrite-In from California  answered…3yrs3Y

Belive blended single payer and saftey net for those that are truly unable to provide thier own support

 @9377RJD from California  answered…3yrs3Y

 @93636B4Independent from California  answered…3yrs3Y

No, a single payer system with the option of private insurance is a better option

 @92K2FCTLibertarian from California  answered…3yrs3Y

No, a Singapore-esque model (i.e., a model which specifically targets market failures versus total socialization) is ideal.

 @8ZC6WZ7 from California  answered…3yrs3Y

No, because I believe the level of care you receive is too low for the high deductibles you have to pay.

 @8WGKYPR from California  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8W6F59F from California  answered…4yrs4Y

universal health care and removal of the insurance companies from health care

 @8TC8NC7 from California  answered…4yrs4Y

My biggest problem with Obamacare is the $ penalty for those who don't qualify but can't afford other insurance.

 @8T9CVJD from California  answered…4yrs4Y

No, healthcare should be free to everyone for life threatening emergencies or hospitals should charge affordable prices for life threatening emergencies

 @8T36C3P from California  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8SXHQMK from California  answered…4yrs4Y

Universal Health Care - you qualify if you pay your taxes. We should be able to choose our doctors and go to urgent cares that are in our own neighborhood.

 @8ST9K4X from California  answered…4yrs4Y

No, repeal & replace but keep aspects that work (such as covering pre-existing conditions, etc.)

No, I support Medicare for all, Medicare, Medicaid, and veteran's benefits instead

 @8JF8L5D from California  answered…5yrs5Y

Our current healthcare system is trash and we should have basic universal healthcare

 @8HNBQYMGreen from California  answered…5yrs5Y

Government mandated fitness and health plans which give benefits to not just citizens who excel physically but mentally as well, along with disciplinary fines and incarceration for willfully-healthy individuals whose conditions are preventable burdens to their local and national community.

 @8GRG7L8 from California  answered…5yrs5Y

YES but make it actually affordable! Like medical. Especially for people older than 50

 @8GB99HC from California  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8D995VW from California  answered…5yrs5Y

I support single payer and Obama care is worse than what we had before.

 @8CB9W5N from California  answered…5yrs5Y

I will only support government healthcare once Americans start maintaining a healthy diet and the majority of the people lose weight. Right now we are the unhealthiest country in the world and it would bankrupt us!

 @9B6PSPJ from California  answered…2yrs2Y

See previous questions on insurance access. Our healthcare programs that we have now are broken.

 @99NLHNN from California  answered…2yrs2Y

 @99GX56MRepublican from California  answered…2yrs2Y

It did many good things but I couldn’t support it because of the employer mandate, the regulations that cost people the plans they had, and the big tax hikes.

 @99CK3C6 from California  answered…2yrs2Y

 @97P22JH from California  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes because my mom has cancer and that can help other peoples family with money and maybe one day my family.

 @97NXKY3Republican from California  answered…3yrs3Y

 @97FYJ2P from California  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but not all aspects. I believe we must open the markets so insurers can compete across state lines and reduce costs.

 @956MLZGCommunist from California  answered…3yrs3Y

I believe everyone should have access to free healthcare, however I don’t believe Obamacare was executed efficiently

 @92PFH88 from California  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8QCNX6T from California  answered…4yrs4Y

no, I support a single payer healthcare system which is called Medicare for all not Republican corporate giveaways

 @8KZTW9B from California  answered…5yrs5Y

No, the government is not responsible for healthcare. But because Obamacare already exists, it should not be eliminated. If Timmy breaks his leg skiing, the taxpayer shouldn't have to pay for it, however in terror attacks, pandemics and war, healthcare should be free.

 @8KJ9D7SConstitution from California  answered…5yrs5Y

We should have an option for free healthcare for all however there should be an option to pay for a premium

 @8GXKFY2 from California  answered…5yrs5Y

 @987KGHYGreen from California  answered…3yrs3Y

The medical industry as a whole is illegitimate and should not be considered health care. Government subsidized health care must include herbal care, acupressure and massage, universal access to gardens and habitat, community health collaboration groups, elimination of manufacture or import of toxic products and pesticides.
