I support parts of it but not all of it. I do not think people should be denied health care or life insurance due to preexisting conditions or medications that are being taken. We cannot help how we are born, accidents that have occurred, exposures to chemicals on the job or in living situations, etc...

  @kagomeshuko  from Texas  answered…9mos9MO

We need single payer health care so all people are covered. Health care should not be a profession where people are paid tons of money and that financially hurts others. Free health care for all is important.

 @9WGDGHNGreen from Texas  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, but include a self-serve education component (to guide individuals to succinct online resources, pooling information from various research institutions, real-life medical practice, and patient stories: like Open AI's latest ChatGPT model or YouTube Premium, whose cost is completely subsidized by the government democratizing relevant, useful information to lower-income individuals).

 @9SGZRDK from Texas  answered…11mos11MO

No, I don’t support it as it is. I think it should go further kind of like Medicare, but without co-pays without limits.

 @9RYDV5V from Texas  answered…11mos11MO

Health care should be removed completely, before insurance prices of healthcare were at a reasonable cost now it is not.

 @9M9MNYN from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

No, healthcare should be free for all individuals who pay taxes, even if taxes are increased due to this.

 @9LQ42ZK from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

I like the idea of it but not the way it set up to give money to insurance companies to then give to low income people rather than the low income people themselves. The insurance companies then still charge outrageous prices and don't help the people they are supposed to.

 @9LPTTR7 from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, but only some parts of it, and a single payer system (with room open for private competition a la all of Europe) would be better.

 @9JCXDPQ from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

Healthcare should be free for all. We are already paying a lot of taxes. Our taxes should be paying for free healthcare for all.

 @9J4Q294Republican  from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

Absolutely not. The fines i owe fir being unable to afford should be removed frim my irs bill. What a travesty.

 @9FKPGHF from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

yes but the gov, shouldn't let health insurers monopolize their services.

 @9F8R5JCIndependent from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Everything sounds reasonable except the fact that people have a fine to pay for NOT having health care insurance simply because that is their own choice for their own health.

 @8XT8LHP from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

No, allow consumers to choose providers and import pharmaceuticals from other countries.

 @9FZJCKV from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

I think that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act probably helped a lot of Americans with healthcare. I personally did not like how an individual who remained uninsured was subject to a fine tax when filing their annual tax return. I think that put an unnecessary burden on tax payers.

 @9CJKVDG from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Basic healthcare is a right. It's great and all to say you have insurance but hardly anyone accepts the cheaper insurance so you're stuck dealing with an issue until it's chronic and requires treatment at a major hospital. We should all have access to preventative care.

 @96CHLF5 from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

We should have universal healthcare like most other developed countries

 @959KFQ9 from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

Consumers should be allowed to choose providers and import pharmaceuticals from other countries, but I believe insurers should be able to compete across state lines in order to reduce costs as well. Some aspects of the law I'm fine with but others I am not.

 @934HPJ6 from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, allow consumers to choose providers and import medication from abroad, but the market needs to be open on order to the prices to fall.

 @salazarpeGreen from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but the priority should be to make America a healthier and more active country, since this will make healthcare cheaper for everyone

 @92YDXFH from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

I supports some of Obamacare. But do think they should open the markets so insurers can compete across state lines and reduce costs

 @92DK3NC from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

No, but the United States healthcare system should become a universal system fully funded by the government. No American should ever have to choose between life saving care or rent.

 @8YG49ZCAmerican from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8X5BY9S from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

The government should make healthcare more available and affordable instead of fluctuating the price based on economical standings

 @Tb0294460 from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8WK7P23 from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

No because we'll lack the independence to take care of ourselves when we get hurt.

 @8WBF749Independent from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8W7HMM7 from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

I fee that some aspects of it are beneficial but people take advantage of it.

 @8W79GQD from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

No because some people take advantage of this program when they don't need it

 @8VXMLPG from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

I support aspects of universal healthcare but not so much federal government regulation

 @8VQC9T2 from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

The government should work on getting the insurance companies, pharmaceuticals, and hospitals to stop charging outrageous prices

 @8VKW42H from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

No, the Act does not support medical professionals well enough, and punishes patients financially to use it.

 @8TZPCYH from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8TN58Y9 from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

No, repeal most of it and replace it with a sensible, market-driven solution that promotes reduction in healthcare costs.

 @8SC92XN from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

I love the concept, but I don't like how it gets manipulated by people to take taxpayer's money.

 @8RTGT6GRepublican from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

I support heathcare that is available to all but I don't understand Obamacare enough to be able to give an opinion on whether it's a good policy or not.

 @8RK25XKDemocrat from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes but we should not be penalized at the end of the year for not having health care and also lower the cost of health care

 @8RHYCGQ from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, though a public option and mandating that all companies must go through the marketplace while eliminating state barriers to insurance

 @8R8P9WY from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8QRV2V6 from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8QPHZ24 from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8Q7DDL9 from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but the Government should pass a mandate protecting those with per existing condition

 @8P9L95Z from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

The government should provide healthcare only for those who can’t afford it on their own

 @8NYVPWT from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

People shouldn't be forced to do it and shouldn't be fined to not pay it

 @8NKBF96Independent from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Universal healthcare where there is a deflationary government option and providers are forced to compete; protection for pre-existing conditions and subsidies for the underprivileged and do away with Medicaid to best support subsidies

 @8NCCL7V from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

As long as the patient works and does not make enough to support it they should be allowed however if you are able to work and choose not to than no.

 @8NC2K4W from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8MK2HBL from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

I support the Idea of healthcare of all, but not this actual system itself.

 @8M4XLBQ from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8LYQMNJWomen’s Equality from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

no, because should not be involved in health care but it should be free.

 @8LG2FKD from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8L98DQ7 from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

If I can't afford it at cost I should be able to pay out of pocket when need arises.

 @8KT74C6 from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8K9X6RWIndependent from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8JSTKVR from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but a single payer system (with a choice for private providers) would be better

 @8JH54ZS from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Allow free markets. It’s not right that the same developers can sell cheaper in other markets. Reform insurance.

 @8HZ52SM from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Health insurance seems like a scam these days. It’s so high and sometimes you pay more with insurance than you would self pay. Healthcare system in our country is ridiculous.

 @8HCCF69 from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

I feel that universal healthcare is something that can be accomplished with a flat tax reform So that regardless of what you make the percent you put in is what equal and if every working American put in the same percent the rich would be putting in a lot more but our children would receive the same care regardless of our income and that’s what’s important.

 @8HBQXW8 from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

I support the concept, but not the execution of this plan. Replace it with something that is sustainable and will actually work.

 @8G7X3HYIndependent from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8F693B5 from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Mixed, shouldn't be penalized for not having something that isn't affordable, but pre-existing conditions need to be covered.

 @8F3GHBV from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8D8XKNRIndependent from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8CKMFQT from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

I support affordable health care for everyone paying including lower priced pharmaceuticals

 @9C46H8DIndependent from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

No, it is an inefficient and bloated legislation that does not accomplish its goals. It should be remade in order to provide proper healthcare coverage.

 @9C2B6ZH from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9BT2FF7 from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Healthcare should be federally funded, but individual tax-payers should be able to opt-in or opt-out of the program if they do not want to pay the relevant taxes.

 @99PSYMG from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes but it doesn’t go far enough. Healthcare is a right to all, not a privilege to some.

 @98HX2KH from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @97QV8B2Libertarian from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

I think service for service. Volunteering or government jobs should be given the health care. that way people get off the tax write off boat and into the everyone for everyone boat.

 @978YX9Q from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

No, but hospitals shouldn't be allowed to overcharge for services and medicines and be ehld accountable for anything that happens to the patient.

 @975RBP6 from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

I think we should open the markets so insurers can compete across state lines and reduce costs, and allow consumers to choose providers and import pharmaceuticals from other countries

 @9754WNLIndependent from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

I think we should open the market for competition. I also believe that people should be able to get drugs from other countries if it is cheaper for them.

 @9743KMW from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @96TTDVS from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

it shouldn't be just be Obamacare and should adopt socialist programs that help the public.

 @8T7YFTD from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

I support a universal healthcare plan, that would be similar to the German or French model.

 @8MT6B5FRepublican from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

I did not agree with Obamacare it really hurt people more than it helped people.
