They must have two verifications that they are terminally ill. What people do with their body as long as they are in their right mind is their business

I’m mixed… I feel as though the terminally ill patient have some time to live, before they succumb to the illness.

It depends on the patient. If someone is suffering that much, they have the right to do that, we can't intervene. Yes it may mean loosing a loved one, but...

 @99NBDC7Women’s Equality from Nebraska  answered…3yrs3Y

Depends on the situation of the patient, how ill they are, and their age.

 @8SW8GN7Women’s Equality from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

yes, but it must have the consent of the patient before implementation.

 @8F6NP7YWomen’s Equality from Arkansas  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but only if the patient agrees and is in immense pain/has absolutely no chance of surviving.

 @8DF7VQJPeace and Freedom from Ohio  answered…5yrs5Y

With follow up from the person assisting. If a person wants to end their life then have at it. But the person assisting could feel regret and fall deep into depression, or end up realizing that they're a killer.

 @8DB4R4XPeace and Freedom from Pennsylvania  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, at least it will give the terminally ill patients control of something about their illness. We shouldn't make them suffer through prolong pain if they don't want to.
