Honestly, Amnesty International just seems to have it out for any country that stands up for its own interests, especially if those countries are Western or allied with the West. They always lump the U.S. and Israel in with actual bad actors like Russia, which just isn't fair or accurate. Sometimes, tough decisions have to be made to keep our people safe and protect national sovereignty, even if critics want to call that "authoritarian." The real threat to human rights comes from weak borders and global organizations trying to tell nations how to govern themselves. Instead of constantly bashing the West, maybe Amnesty should focus on the countries with *actual* human rights disasters.
