We are all made in the image and likeness of Christ. It is undeniable some people have experienced things others have not. However, to say we need to reach down to help a certain race is horrible. Treat everyone equally and do not give free handouts to people out of some sort of pity. We are all Americans. We are all children of God. We may not have the same stories, but we all deserve the same.

In order to have us all be equal we first need to rise up and give more help to people in marginalized communities. Those who we have systemically oppressed for years deserve to know about their history and what they've been through. We should provide more help and social programs to make people of color more equal.
