Nuclear energy may be one of the best, cleanest, and most environmentally stable forms of energy

The shocking past of the Chornobyl crisis was an argument to point out that nuclear energy harms the environment. This statement is true, but only in the conditions of using it in very poor quality maintenance and performance. Knowing this, nuclear energy will never be a negative in the hands of professionals and will perform with very little carbon footprint, space consumption, and environmental harm compared to other energy production methods.

I agree. Chernobyl was a disaster that could have been prevented by following proper safety standards. It was not up to the standards of anyone, and therefore is not a good example of why we shouldn't move towards nuclear energy.

I agree. People so often point to incidents like Chernobyl for as to why nuclear energy is bad, but the Chernobyl reactor was of a very poor design, and the series of actions that led to the meltdown were caused by a deviation from standard procedure caused by a reckless supervisor.
