Both fossil fuels and nuclear energy are bad, regardless of if one is slightly better than the other. We should be working towards an alternative solution--such as solar, wind, hydropower, and geothermal heat--so that we do not need to continue to use non-renewable energy sources.

Nuclear Energy is one of the worst polluters for Earth, it destroys the sky's and makes it less likely to rebuild the Ozone layer.

We've reached a point within our current skills and knowledge of nuclear energy that it would most likely be even safer to invest in nuclear energy than fossil fuels. An example I can think of, is a comparison of the past and present being more akin to a hovel and a castle.

You can never get rid of Nuclear Energy. I disagree with this statement because we need it to fuel our country.

 @BCBWDSY from Kansas  agreed…2mos2MO

nuclear energy is actually one of the cleanest and effective ways to produce energy, as it leaves little to no waste. the waste that it does produce is also nontoxic.

 @BCBSF5Y from Wyoming  agreed…2mos2MO

I fully agree with this. Nuclear energy has and always will be the best energy source, and every day we dont start using it is a day where our planet is destroyed.

Strongly agree. People have a bad taste in their mouth from Chornobyl and Fukushima, but maintaining our reactors, ensuring competence and not just party loyalty for managers, and properly planning our reactors and where they're built can prevent these issues.

 @BCBLBXXCommunist from Georgia  agreed…2mos2MO

Nuclear energy is cleaner than all other types of energy. It’s use is vital to the future of our world.
