I agree with this because the daughter shouldn't have to live with that and she should have the choice to be able to keep the baby or abort it.

 @B7NHP2W from Oklahoma  agreed…8mos8MO

No she shouldn't. Similarly, many women face tremendous health issues being pregnant. Even if they wanted the kid, should they die and leave possibly a husband and other kids who need a mom. That baby will need a mom.

 @B7NTMYGSocialist from Louisiana  agreed…8mos8MO

Absolutely not why would you want to kill an alive and breathing person for the chance of a new life?

 @B7PRNRZ from New York  agreed…8mos8MO

I agree that abortion should be up to the parents due to health risks and also because it should be the mothers decision along with the father if parents agree mutually.

 @B7NW3QK  from Ohio  agreed…8mos8MO

No!, No child should ever go through being forced to have a baby, all because they're "alive" and could be important one day too? Children in foster care are important to, and could also be president or something more, or are they just forgotten about, just like anyone else? No child should ever be sentenced to this.

 @B7NTDMB from Wisconsin  commented…8mos8MO

She should 100% not die for the child, because she was raped and it was not a planned Parenthood. No women that is raped shall have to carry through with birth if she chooses not to.

 @B7NS9DX from Ohio  disagreed…8mos8MO

if the mother has a chance of dying I believe not but if she was perfectly fine I say have it and put it up for adoption because so many people cant have kids and would want to have it

 @B7NP8VV from Oregon  agreed…8mos8MO

I think they make a good point. If I had a daughter who was raped, pregnant, and her life at risk, she would not have the baby - if that is what she chooses. I believe it all comes down to the individual, not what we THINK someone should do. And even if we don't always agree, we should respect them for their choice on their body. If someone is pregnant and does not want to be, they should have the option to abort. Even with all precautions taken - birth control, condoms, Plan B- you can still get pregnant, and if you did all you could, you should not be forced into a life you never chose…  Read more

When in the case of the baby endangering the mother’s life the doctor should do his best to save both but if a choice has to be made it should be decided by the mother. The moral thing for the mother to pick would be to save the baby.

 @B7NJH6P  from California  agreed…8mos8MO

I would suggest she have an abortion especially if she is a minor because her life would be at risk and the baby´s life might be as well.

 @B7RBGGS from Massachusetts  agreed…8mos8MO

Abort it, and I would suggest it even if she wasn't going to die and just didn't want it. She should never die for a baby she doesn't want.

 @B7R6SP6 from Oregon  agreed…8mos8MO

Get a abortion, she shouldn't have to carry a baby just because someone else wanted her to when it is her body and she didn't choose to get raped. Anyone can get a abortion if they want no matter what.

 @B7PWQV2Progressive from Colorado  agreed…8mos8MO

I'd suggest she'd get an abortion. She shouldn't suffer more from a baby she doesn't want and didn't have choice to make.

 @B7PCBL3 from California  agreed…8mos8MO

No. she shouldn't die for a baby that she didn't want especially if was forced upon her. It would just give her more trauma and the baby won't be able to have a normal parent that cares for them like every kids deserve.

 @B7NY37P from Ohio  agreed…8mos8MO

I think that planned parent hood is one of those things that need to stay to help young adults and grown adults figure out what they truly want to do.

 @B7QWCNV from California  agreed…8mos8MO

I agree with this comment. Reproductive care is critical and no women should be put through carrying a child they dont want or a child of rape.

 @B7NKR56 from Texas  agreed…8mos8MO

No, absolutely not. I am for choice. There is a reason we have separation of church and state. Christians want to push their "beliefs" on to everyone about this but how would they feel if other religions pushed their beliefs on to the everyone else by changing laws in the government. I do not believe I have the right to tell someone else what they can and can't do with their body. People say it is because they are "pro-life" but they are only for life when it comes to giving birth. I don't see these people adopting kids, becoming foster parents, donating to organization that help these kids, etc. They are not for giving these low income kids free lunch. There is so much they are against but yet they are "pro life". They are only pro-birth and it ends there.

 @B7NKFD4 from California  agreed…8mos8MO

No she should be able to get the abortion if she wants to. My daughters life would be way more important to me than an unborn baby.

 @B7NJWPQ from North Carolina  agreed…8mos8MO

She should get the medical care that is recommended and that she wants. If this is an abortion then that's that.
