Nuclear Energy is our best option for energy at the moment, and it is a clean energy as it doesn't eject anything into the atmosphere except steam. Contrary to popular belief, it is incredibly safe (Thanks, Simpsons...) and should be our primary energy source.

Nuclear energy is the safest and cleanest option for generating energy. It is efficient, inexpensive, and fuel can be safely stored (Not in barrels underwater oozing green goo). The fuel can't be turned into weapons, and nearly all nuclear accidents in the past have occurred due to human error or poor construction and mechanical issues.
