I reject the premise

BOTH! But yes to nuclear energy because it is efficient to produce and we know how to use it. We don't have the same needs for infrastructure and giant batteries, etc. Instead the major cost is tech investments around waste disposal. Which is significant - see the inordinate number of PhDs here in WA at Hanford! But we drank the kool aid of fear after the notable nuclear reactor meltdown disasters. And though those are frightening, they are quite rare. We should give nuclear a real chance. We really pulled the ripcord too early on that experiment of the 70s and 80s. Make America Nuclear Again.

I agree with the thought of needing to continue using Nuclear Energy since it is crucial to the development and progress of our country.

it may work well but think about what its doing to our green earth that we so graciously given too we are destroying what the animals worked so hard to build
