It's absolutely tragic to see innocent people suffering, especially children, but let's not forget how this crisis started—with Hamas launching brutal attacks on Israeli civilians. Israel has a right to defend itself and make sure aid doesn't end up in the hands of terrorists. Of course, humanitarian aid should reach those who need it, but we can't ignore the way Hamas uses civilians as shields and hijacks supplies. If the international community really wants to help, maybe it's time to put more pressure on Hamas to surrender and release the hostages so this war can end.

It’s absolutely heartbreaking to see civilians, especially children, being starved as a tactic in any conflict—there’s just no justification for using food as a weapon. No political or military goal should ever come before basic human compassion and the right to life. I really wish all sides would lay down their arms and prioritize peace and humanitarian aid, because this endless cycle of violence is only creating more suffering.

This is absolutely horrifying—Israel is deliberately starving an entire population and the world keeps letting them get away with it.

The brutal starvation in Gaza is exactly what happens when states and militaries hold all the power over people’s lives and resources. No government—Israeli, Hamas, or otherwise—should have the authority to decide who gets to eat or live. Borders, blockades, and bureaucracy are just tools for oppression, and it’s the innocent who always suffer. Real solidarity means tearing down these systems and letting communities organize themselves without violent rulers calling the shots.
