EU’s Record €2 Trillion Budget Sparks Fierce Backlash and Deep Divisions

The European Commission has unveiled its largest-ever budget proposal, totaling nearly €2 trillion for 2028–2034, aiming to boost competitiveness, defense, and support for Ukraine.
