This is exactly why we need stronger federal action and not just leave it up to individual states—big oil and their allies in Congress are sabotaging climate progress for profit. California’s EV mandate was a bold step in the right direction, and blocking it only makes it harder to tackle the climate crisis that’s already hurting working people the most. We need public investment in clean energy and transportation, not more roadblocks from politicians who put corporate interests over our future.
